Chapter 1 - KASHIKARI: THE LIGHT OF DARKNESS

Prologue – Beginning

The year was 3000.

But this was not the future humanity had imagined. No flying cars in the sky.No cities lit with endless lights.

Humanity… had once thrived. And then repeatedly collapsed.

Civilizations vanished, knowledge turned to ash,and the world had returned to an age ruled by stone and soil.

The only things left were… the instinct to survive. And power.

The sky was gray. The clouds heavy, the air suffocating.

A child walked along a deserted path.

He wore clothes from a world long gone…But he no longer belonged there.Even his name was irrelevant—too ordinary to remember.

Then—

A sound.

A roaring engine.A massive vehicle out of control.

Everything happened at once.

Light.Impact.Silence.

And darkness.

When he opened his eyes… he was no longer in that world.

This world was nothing he had ever known.

And his name… was different now.

Kashikari.

He was a child of a clan.A descendant of an ancient, powerful, and honorable lineage.

His early years… were peaceful. As if his past life had never happened.

But peace… never lasts long.

That night came.

Betrayal arose from the most unexpected place.

Someone he called a sibling… had sold them all.

Flames consumed the sky.Screams tore through the darkness.

Kashikari heard his mother's voice.

Then… silence.

The lifeless bodies of his siblings lay before him.

And his father…

Bloodied, but with a glimmer of will in his eyes.

With trembling hands, he extended something.

A sphere.

Jinwi.

Ancient.Dangerous.Cursed.

"This… is your burden," his father said, voice barely audible."Protect it… control it… No one else can bear this power but you."

Kashikari couldn't speak.

He reached for the sphere.

And in that instant…

Everything changed.

His father took his last breath.

And the world… sank into silence.

That night, not only a clan was lost.A child had died.

What remained… was something else entirely.

Chapter 1 – Solitude and Fire

The scent of ash lingered in the air.

The forest was silent. But this silence was not peaceful. It was the emptiness left after death.

Kashikari leaned against a cold stone. He pulled his knees close, hugging them tightly. His body trembled, but it wasn't from the cold.

Hunger.Thirst.Exhaustion.

But most of all… loss.

He had no idea how many days had passed. The sun rose, set… and rose again.Yet for him, time seemed to stand still.

His lips were dry.His eyes heavy.

But he could not sleep.Closing them brought the night back—reliving it.

He looked at his hands.Small, dirty… trembling.

But inside them… there was something.

Jinwi.

The sphere quivered lightly.Like a heartbeat.

For a moment… Kashikari's breath stopped.

It was not just an object. It was alive.

He buried his head in his knees.

The wind whispered through the trees, bringing memories back.

His mother.A warm smile. Those soft hands brushing his hair every morning…

"My hero…" she used to say.

His father.Harsh, but fair.Training him for hours with a wooden sword.

"Power is not just to strike," he said."Power you cannot control… will destroy you."

His brother…Small.Innocent.Even his laugh was enough to make the world better.

All gone.

Kashikari opened his eyes. His throat tightened. But he did not cry.Tears… were no longer his.

"The one who did this…" he whispered. His voice cracked."…I will find you."

Then—

Jinwi shone.Weakly, but clearly.

Kashikari flinched.It was a reaction.An answer.

He slowly stood.His knees trembling.

No food.No water.

But there was something within him now.

Anger.

One step forward. The earth crushed beneath his bare feet. The wind grew sharper.

And in that instant…Something changed.

Jinwi's pulse quickened.Like a heartbeat…

But this time—It matched his own.

Kashikari's eyes widened.Breath caught in his throat.

The world…slowed.

No sound.But he felt something.

He was accepted.

This was not just power.It was a bond.A pact.Irreversible.

The sky darkened suddenly.A scene unfolded before his eyes.

Flames.A burning structure.A small child running.

Himself.

And there…A figure.

Shrouded in shadows.Face unseen.

But…Familiar.

"I had to do this…"A voice echoed.Filled with pain."The clan hasn't changed… but I have."

Kashikari wanted to scream. But no sound came.

He remembered only one thing. That figure…Was the last one who spoke to his father.

The vision shattered.Kashikari collapsed onto his knees.Breathing uneven.

But now he was sure.

This was not just betrayal. It was… personal.

He clenched his fists."I survived…" he said."…and I will find you."

Jinwi glowed again. This time, stronger. As if…It wanted the same thing.
