Chapter 35 - Chapter 35 Bulletproof Glass

Bulletproof glass blueprints: the nemesis of low-end thermal weapons and a protective umbrella for life!

Materials: Glass, polycarbonate (different units of material are consumed depending on the size of the bulletproof glass)

The other two bags contained rice seeds in one bag and polycarbonate, the kind of glass-like crystals needed to make bulletproof glass, in the other. It seems the resource box is as thoughtful as ever.

Having spent too much time chasing the car in front, and with it already past seven o'clock, Shen Muyu decided not to continue walking.

After parking the car against the stone wall, Shen Muyu increased the polycarbonate level, gaining an extra 30 units.

She had just tested it on the window next to the driver's side. One small window required two pieces of glass and a bag of polycarbonate. The whole car would need fourteen pieces. Shen Muyu put the rest away so she could replace them if needed in the future.

The potatoes planted yesterday afternoon are growing very lushly. Shen Muyu carefully parted them to take a look and found that they had already started to bear fruit. They should be ready for harvest tomorrow.

As for the mangoes, they have just started to grow on the trunks and are still very weak. It will probably take a few more days, but once the trees are fully grown, we can harvest a crop almost every day.

Although it grows quickly, the yellow gemstones are also consumed in great quantities. They've already become somewhat dull, and will likely need to be replaced tomorrow.

Shen Muyu planted the rice seeds she had just obtained into another incubator. This time she added a lot of water. This thing is a huge water consumer, but it's all worth it for the sake of food!

After carefully arranging everything, Shen Muyu made a lot of wire, mainly to secure the easily movable items in the car. Previously, they were tied with hemp rope, but now they are not only more stable but also look much better.

Wiping the sweat from her forehead, Shen Muyu prepared to start cooking, but it was only then that she remembered she had a whole pig in her backpack waiting to be processed.

Looking at the pig placed on the ground, Shen Muyu crossed her arms, feeling somewhat helpless. She didn't know how to slaughter a pig!

Although she had worked in a butcher shop, her job there was washing the drains, the kind of job where one wash would leave the place smelly for three days. When she found a new job, she quickly took it, but it has to be said that the pay was really high.

Shen Muyu shook his head to bring his attention back. The most important thing right now was this pig; it would start to rot if it wasn't decomposed soon.

Suddenly, Shen Muyu had a flash of inspiration. She could go to Su Bai! She had seen Su Bai sell wolf pelts before, which meant he should know how to butcher them!

"Do you know how to butcher a pig?" Thinking it over, Shen Muyu immediately sent a private message.

"Um."

"I have a pig that needs to be butchered. You can keep one-third of it as payment."

"I don't want pork. Here are the materials, help me build a refrigerator."

Shen Muyu fell silent after seeing Su Bai's words. She had never sold refrigerators before, partly because the materials were hard to find, but also because of her own selfish reasons.

If everyone has a refrigerator, who would buy meat? Wouldn't it be better to freeze it as a food reserve? In that case, Shen Muyu wouldn't be able to buy affordable and diverse meats.

This isn't what she wanted, and even if she were to sell it, she certainly wouldn't sell it at the original price; Su Bai's offer was a bit too low.

"I only have one set of materials, but I can help you distribute the animals from now on, for free." Perhaps noticing Shen Muyu's hesitation, Su Bai sent another message after a while.

"Okay, you can help me butcher the pig first, and I'll make you a refrigerator after I'm done." Shen Muyu agreed upon seeing this. The fact that this guy could kill wolves meant he was quite capable and would probably live a long time. Besides, having more friends meant having more options, so this was a good idea.

Shen Muyu was just about to trade the pig to him when a link was sent directly to him, which contained materials for making refrigerators.

Shen Muyu put the pig in and completed the transaction, but the refrigerator would have to wait until next time, as she was afraid the pig would be swallowed.

Having resolved a worry, Shen Muyu hummed a little tune as she opened the refrigerator. Today she wanted to eat hand-pulled noodles, and she would make the sauce with potatoes and beef.

Big White probably felt hungry too, and stood in front of the refrigerator wagging its tail incessantly.

"Don't worry, I'll make you a plain one without any seasoning," Shen Muyu said, rubbing Da Bai's skin. He couldn't let Da Bai eat dog food all the time; it needed a more balanced diet.

Shen Muyu quickly kneaded the dough and let it rise for a while. During this time, she made braised beef and stewed potatoes.

Just as the beef was starting to stew, Su Bai sent over a link, which showed a large white pig being clearly dissected.

"So fast!" Shen Muyu was shocked. She had a hard time even killing a chicken, how could this person clean up a huge pig in no time?

"There's a technique to it," Su Bai replied casually.

"Wow." Shen Muyu immediately made two refrigerators, one placed on the link and the other in the car. There was definitely no way the previous one could hold so much pork.

Shen Muyu pushed hard and finally managed to get all the pork in. It was only because the meat was still soft that it was still there; otherwise, it would have been impossible.

Soon a bowl of fragrant beef noodles was placed on the table, next to a glass of chilled soda water and peeled strawberries.

She plans to plant the peels she's taken off later; strawberries grow quickly, and maybe she'll be able to eat fresh ones tomorrow.

Under the table was a special unseasoned beef and potato dish from Da Bai, along with a few blanched pork bones—a good source of calcium!

I had barely taken a few bites when the familiar electronic sound suddenly appeared again.

"I suppose most of you have already met your own people. Will you team up amicably or fight each other? Of course, both options are good!"

"To improve everyone's understanding, or rather, to enhance the game's playability, the dungeon will reopen tomorrow, in the same manner as last time."

"We hope you will participate actively this time, and we look forward to seeing you!"

Upon hearing the electronic voice's message, Shen Muyu rolled her eyes. This organizer really wasn't giving her a break at all.

Dungeons are really a mentally and resource-intensive activity. The only advantage is that you can exchange for some items you need without having to rely on luck to open chests.

However, judging from the organizer's intentions, is it going to be a two-player instance for those forming a team? I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Without paying any more attention, Shen Muyu continued to enjoy her dinner. After the first time, the second time wouldn't be so scary, at least it wasn't entirely unknown.

After eating and drinking his fill, Shen Muyu planted the strawberries. The seeds were only enough to fill half of the cultivation box. Shen Muyu wanted to go to the store to find some other seeds to fill it, but unfortunately no one was selling them yet. It seemed that they were rare items at this stage.

After hanging up the mess of clothes from the morning at the mall, Shen Muyu wiped herself down a bit and lay down in the driver's seat to fall asleep.

Big White was probably tired too, so it curled up and stopped moving.
