Auxiliary Chapter: How the Chaos Gacha Works

Look, I know what you're thinking. "What the hell is a Chaos Gacha and why does this idiot keep pulling random powers like he's playing a mobile game?"

Fair question.

Let me explain how this cosmic slot machine works before you get too confused.

THE BASICS

The Chaos Gacha is exactly what it sounds like: a gambling system run by RNGesus (yes, that's his actual name) that gives you random powers, items, and abilities in exchange for completing feats.

You do cool shit, you get tickets.

You roll tickets, you get powers.

You use powers to do cooler shit, you get better tickets.

It's a feedback loop designed to either make you overpowered or kill you trying.

Guess which one the ROBs are betting on.

FEATS AND TICKETS

Feats are anything impressive you manage to accomplish.

The more impressive the feat, the better the ticket you get.

But there's a caveat: feats are judged relative to your current power level.

If you kill a city-destroying Kaiju while being massively stronger than it, you might only get a Silver ticket. But if you're way weaker and somehow pull it off anyway? That's Diamond tier.

TICKET TIERS

Tickets come in different rarities, and each rarity pulls from a different power pool:

Bronze-> Silver->Gold->Platinum-> Legendary->Mythical->Divine

Higher rarity tickets give better stuff on average, but RNG is RNG. You can get trash from a Diamond pull and gold from a Bronze pull.

It's gambling. That's the whole point.

CATEGORIES

Tickets come in five categories, and each one gives different types of rewards:

ABILITIES occupy ability slots and require energy to use. These are your active powers like creating energy blades, flying, shooting lightning, etc. You start with one ability slot and gain a new slot every 5 abilities you collect.

TRAITS are passive modifiers that don't require energy and don't take up slots. Things like scrying proof, making familiars stronger, or cursing you to be too sexy forever.

SKILLS download knowledge directly into your brain. Martial arts, cooking, butler training, etc.

ITEMS are physical objects. Weapons, armor, consumables and even vehicles. Some have cooldowns, some have restock timers.

FAMILIARS are living beings that serve you with absolute loyalty. They can't betray you even if they wanted to, but they still have their own personalities.

CURSES

Oh yeah, curses exist too.

You can spin the Curse Roulette for better tickets at the cost of, well, curses.

Welcome to the Chaos Gacha.

All in.
