Chapter 141 - 141

Chapter 141 Dreaming

Zheng Wudi searched the place thoroughly.

We still haven't found the place to cultivate it.

Zheng Wudi searched and searched and returned to the familiar conference room on the 25th floor.

As soon as I entered, I pushed a chair over and sat down.

Zheng Wudi sat in a chair, looking out the window. In the distance, there was still an endless expanse of yellow sand.

Zheng Wudi's mind was not on the scenery outside the window.

I was just thinking to myself whether they had mentioned the incubation room when we were chatting before.

The location of the cultivation room was then deduced.

It's just a pity that Zheng Wudi didn't care at the time.

Now...

Zheng Wudi felt that he was really too naive.

If I had known things would turn out this way, I would have been better off knowing how to use platitudes.

Zheng Wudi, who had been sitting upright, gradually slumped into the chair, looking unusually relaxed.

Perhaps Zheng Wudi was tired from running up and down.

Or is this chair some kind of magic?

Zheng Wudi was unaware of this; he only felt drowsy, and his eyelids pressed together uncontrollably, requiring only a little force to pry them open.

...Zheng Wudi simply sprawled out on the chair, letting himself drift off to sleep.

However, this dream was somewhat unexpected.

Zheng Wudi stared at the bustling street scene before him, inexplicably mesmerized by the sight.

It's been a long time since we've had such a lively scene!

After making such a remark, Zheng Wudi was somewhat surprised by what he had said!

After all, she wasn't a particularly sentimental person.

"Invincible, hurry up and catch up!" The middle-aged woman standing at the stall in front shouted and waved.

There were too many people on the street, so Zheng Wudi raised his voice in response, "I know, Mom!"

After saying that, Zheng Wudi ran to the woman's side, then took her arm and shook it, saying, "Where's my dad? Why didn't he come?"

The middle-aged woman chuckled and patted Zheng Wudi on the back of the head, saying, "Are you crazy, girl? Your dad had something to do and couldn't come along!"

After hearing this, Zheng Wudi also felt that what he said was a bit unnecessary.

He suddenly realized what he had done, slapped his forehead, and then gave the woman an awkward smile.

The woman affectionately pinched Zheng Wudi's chubby cheeks, then looked down and started picking through the oranges at the stall. She picked up an orange and asked the stall owner, "Are these oranges sweet? If they are, I'll buy some."

The shop owner across the street exclaimed exaggeratedly, "Sweet! Everyone who's tried my oranges says they're sweet! If you don't believe me, just pick one and taste it yourself. I'm not lying!"

After listening to the shopkeeper's words, Zheng Wudi's mother weighed the oranges in her hand, then picked one out, peeled it, and put a few segments into Zheng Wudi's mouth before taking a few more segments and putting them into her own mouth.

Then, the two people who don't like sour food immediately turned into memes because of their sourness.

The two of them were so sour that their noses and eyes wrinkled up.

The boss across the street looked on with a shocked expression.

The shop owner, somewhat skeptical, peeled an orange on the spot and ate it, saying without batting an eye, "A green orange! Not sour at all! Quite sweet!"

As he ate, he hesitated again, wondering if the two people in front of him were there to cause trouble.

But looking at Zheng Wudi and the other two, he shook his head inwardly, feeling a pang of envy.

Zheng Wudi's mother and Zheng Wudi swallowed the sour oranges in their mouths and said awkwardly, "We forgot that we can't handle sour food very well! Sorry, boss!"

Remembering that someone in the family liked sour food, Zheng Wudi's mother said this, but still grabbed a plastic bag from the stall and picked out a few oranges to put in the bag.

After paying, they continued browsing the stalls in front of them with Zheng Wudi.
