Chapter 2
"Not all voices seek an answer… some simply want to be heard, even just once."
Page 1: (The next day – sunrise in the schoolyard) Kaito enters through the gate. His steps are slower, his eyes alert. The atmosphere is calm, but his inner self is unsettled. Mizuki walks past him and whispers without turning around:
Mizuki: "Don't try to read every voice… some can't be interpreted, they're felt."
Page 2: A shot of Kaito's face. A nervous smile plays on his lips.
Kaito (thinking): "She's not just a student… she's a coded message walking on two legs."
Page 3: (The bell rings) The students enter the classroom. Kaito sits in his seat. He takes out a notebook and begins to write intently. The title of his note is: "The Unknown Voice – The Auditory Ghost Theory."
Page 4: A shot from above of the classroom. Mizuki glances at him out of the corner of her eye. Kaito continues writing, unaware of her presence.
Kaito (thinking): "The beginning… was with sound. And the end… won't be silent."
Page 5: (Recess – Silent shot from afar) Kaito is sitting in a corner of the school, reading a book on auditory perception. Mizuki walks past him and suddenly stops.
Mizuki: "Do you believe some people are born with a third eye? Or a fourth ear?"
Page 6: Kaito looks up at her. A wary glance.
Kaito: "Maybe… if they're prepared to bear what that ear will convey to them."
Page 7: Mizuki smiles gently.
Mizuki: "Nice… it seems you don't just hear, you understand." Then she continues walking quietly, leaving Kaito in silence.
Page 8: Kaito returns to his book. Her words intertwine in his mind with the lines of text. An inner voice clashes with what he has read.
Page 9: (Flashback – His brother Haruma's face at a certain point in his memory)
Kaito (thinking): "The voice… wasn't always a tone."
Page 10: (Inside the classroom – after returning from recess) Kaito looks at Mizuki. She's writing her notes… then she suddenly stops and looks at him.
Page 11: A silent stare. No one is smiling. But their gazes hold the energy of unspoken words.
Page 12:
Mizuki (thinking): "He's running away… but in an organized way."
Page 13:
Kaito (thinking): "Is this a confrontation?… or a test?"
Page 14: (After school) Kaito heads back to class to retrieve his notebook. The classroom is empty… the lighting is dim.
Page 15: He reaches his seat… he notices a folded piece of paper on his desk. He hesitates before touching it.
Page 16: He slowly unfolds the paper. The message: "Don't try to hear what isn't said… Some voices are meant to destroy you."
Page 17: A close-up of his eyes widening in surprise. Then a close-up of his fist gripping the paper tightly.
Page 18: Outside the classroom – Mizuki stands in the sunlight by the window. She looks inside quietly.
Page 19: Kaito (thinking): "Threats aren't written… they're whispered."
Page 20: He puts the paper in his notebook. He leaves the classroom – his steps slower.
Page 21: (Call to the corridor) A student walks past him and says:
Student: "Hey Kaito, someone's asking for you… a girl."
Page 22: Kaito stops abruptly. His expression changes. He replies calmly:
Kaito: "Really?… Or is she just trying to see me?"
Page 23: The student doesn't understand. He shrugs and leaves. Kaito looks toward the end of the corridor.
Page 24: In the distance – Mizuki disappears around the final turn. Kaito stares into space.
Page 25:
• Kaito (thinking): "Her voice… isn't ringing out. But it's not silent either."

Page 26 (the last): Chapter finale – Kaito's notebook is open on his desk at home. Under a new heading: New heading: "The sound coming… is unlike anything I've ever heard before."
