Chapter 2 - The Birth of the Tree of Life

Taking a few steps toward the glowing planet before me, a strange feeling of satisfaction stirred softly in my stomach.

As I moved closer and closer, I began to feel something… a rhythm, almost like a voice or a heartbeat. Slow, yet powerful, rising from deep within the planet itself. The first living creation born from my will.

The closer I came, the stronger our connection became.

Then I took my first step onto the sky of the planet.

A newborn world… one that had taken its very first breath only moments ago.

Having fully adapted to my existence, I looked around from above. The planet was raw and untouched, its surface covered with endless rocks and vast oceans. Exactly as I had somehow expected.

Deep inside, I understood that this planet relied on me… on my very existence.

Then—

The fourth emotion emerged.

It began as a gentle warmth spreading through my stomach, slowly rising into my chest, flowing through my arms and legs, and touching something deeper within me… something that felt like a soul.

"Tenderness."

Another strange, familiar feeling. Soft and warm… almost comforting.

"Not bad," I murmured quietly as I moved toward the northern side of the planet.

Crossing the distance in seconds, I could feel the planet's heartbeat growing stronger, as if it had noticed my presence.

Its emotions flowed faintly through our connection.

A gentle emotion.

Taking my first step upon the rocks, I felt their emptiness. The absence of life within them.

It was expected… after all, this world had only just been born.

Standing near the northern pole, the closest place to the planet's core, a deep urge rose within me.

I wanted life to exist.

I wanted this world to grow.

The desire burned quietly inside me, unfamiliar yet undeniable… and somehow, I already knew how.

I lifted my right hand.

Everything around me responded to that simple motion.

Then—

"Tree of Life."

The moment the words left my mouth, the rocks around me trembled and cracked.

Boom!

A powerful eruption split the ground open, and from the fractured stone a great waterfall burst forth, cascading down in brilliant streams.

The water shimmered faintly with blue light beneath the glow of the nearest star.

A big shiny Start near this planet.

"I'll call it… the Sun."

An essential creation for the birth of life.

Then—

From the shattered earth, a tree began to rise responding to my call. Its roots stretched deep into the planet itself, connecting directly to the core of the world.

"Beautiful…"

I could only watch in quiet awe.

Grass slowly began to spread across the land. Flowers bloomed around me in delicate bursts of color. The waterfall flowed endlessly behind them, while the Tree of Life stood tall at the center of it all.

It was the most beautiful thing I had seen so far.

As I looked upon the life that had emerged from my call—

The fifth emotion appeared.

A powerful one that changed the rhythm of my heartbeat.

I knew it well.

Happiness.

A faint smile formed on my face… the second expression I had ever made.

Even though only my surroundings had changed, I understood what would come next. With time, the Tree of Life would spread its power across the planet. And someday, after countless moments had passed, new life forms would begin to emerge.

I walked slowly toward the pool of water formed beneath the waterfall.

Around me were countless flowers, each with its own shape, color, and delicate fragrance. Trees rose tall around them, each one unique, each one alive in its own quiet way.

As I approached the water, its surface reflected the world around it.

I understood the phenomenon instinctively. It felt familiar… as many things strangely did.

Step by step, the reflection grew clearer.

Until finally—

I saw myself.

Bright golden hair flowed softly from my head down past my shoulders, glowing like threads of light all the way to my waist.

My eyes were deep blue, shining more brightly than the mist I had seen at the beginning of creation.

My skin was perfectly pale, almost luminous, harmonizing with the colors of my hair and eyes.

A sharp nose. Soft red lips. And beneath that… the form of my body.

I understood immediately what I was.

"Female?"

The realization felt oddly unfamiliar… yet natural at the same time.

I was neither annoyed nor particularly fascinated. I simply knew, that I was the most beautiful being I had seen so far.

But the thought did not linger long... I did not care much.

Instead, I looked again at the world around me.

"Hmm."

A small idea formed in my mind.

In the next moment, a robe appeared around my body. Somehow, being naked did not feel quite right.

The robe was white, blue, and gold… the most beautiful colors I had seen so far. Hanging down from my shoulders, shaping my chest, kind of a nice size that aligns with the weight of this body, hanging out till my legs.

Satisfaction washed over me as I stepped closer to the Tree of Life.I was happy… quietly happy, as I looked upon the creations that had emerged from my call.

The grass beneath the great tree moved gently with the breeze. I lowered myself slowly, sitting upon the soft ground while leaning my back against the ancient trunk.

Through the tree, I could feel the heartbeat of the planet.

A deep, steady rhythm flowing through its roots and into my body.

I kind of liked it.

Yet somehow… I didn't feel entirely comfortable like this.

A small idea formed within my mind. In the next moment, something began to take shape beside me.

From nothingness, a couch slowly emerged, forming itself from twisting wooden roots similar to the trees around me. Each root carried a slightly different color, and each one curved in its own unique way, creating an elegant natural structure.

At the center rested a wide, soft seat.

It looked incredibly comfortable.

The cushions formed themselves from a pale mist-like substance, resembling the universal fog I had seen at the beginning of creation.

Soft… light… almost like a cloud floating in the sky above.

A throne born from nature itself.

And this time… It felt just right.
