75 billion credits! I couldn't stop laughing in pure happiness after what happened with Thragg.
It was like hitting the lottery with that sale, and there was more to come from him, or at least I hope their is more credits from them in the future.
But with the amount I had I could afford low god tier items for myself to use, the selection was rather vast but I didn't really know what to lean into more.
I could lean more down my vampiric path that I have gained through Yggdrasil and the world of Overlord but I don't know how to evolve further down this path by becoming a Origin Vampire.
I could begin to walk the steps of true godhood and try to become the patron god of Vampires, maybe becoming a God of Blood in the process.
Or I could lean into my Archery that I have been neglecting a bit and learn from my namesake becoming the Celestial Archer and making the very stars be my Arrows.
Really it was hard to decide since both routes have their positives and their downsides at that, but for now I would hold off on the choice and make it later instead.
"Though I hope Thragg heeded my advice, Thaddeus has the tools necessary to improve the virus and make it even more deadly if he doesn't take a 90 degree turn for himself and his race as a whole." I say to myself before going back to running my shop.
Meanwhile on the Viltrumite homeworld Thragg had called a meeting with the Viltrumite government body that listens to him and his words.
"The test results are in Grand Regent, this Scourge Virus….. if it wasn't in a highly diluted form as it is the entire Viltrumite race would be at risk of utter annihilation." A Viltrumite researcher said after returning with the lab results.
Thragg nods at this before looking back at his council, "Now do you see? I know that what I had said about the future must have sounded skeptical to you but this virus was of Thaddeuses design originally to kill off our entire race, in fact his dna is used as the basis to make this virus in the first place." Thragg said as the analysis of the virus had a 95% match to Thaddeuses DNA.
"Originally, had this information of the future not landed in my hands I would have implemented a purging event of our race to cut away those of weaker power in our race, but from what I came to know hearing of this Thaddeus would see no hope of our race, seeing us as nothing but brutal barbarians who only thing is slaughter and domination." He explains to them.
"So I thought of a new plan for domination as I have taken to heart the words of the man who has given me a chance to save my race from its potential annihilation from this virus and wish to inact what I call the 'Hero Initiative'" he said as he went onto explain.
The Hero initiative, much like the Interspecies Breeding Plan in the original timeline, would have Viltrumites invading planets, but instead of outright conquering them it would be they would come to help them and bring them aid appearing as benevolent saviors to their worlds.
Though their work won't be wholly altruistic requiring payment(Tribute) for their services, should they refuse we leave them a device to call us should they ever need aid from us.
But as they denied us of what we wanted from them we in turn secretly make a situation where their planet comes in immense danger that they as a race can't handle on their own thus requiring our help and getting what we want anyway.
But if they still don't want our help we just cause more and more incidents until they call for our help, but if they never ask for help then it's just best the planet is obliterated as a result of not wanting our empires aid.
This in turn will lessen the possibility of a coalition of planets forming to hinder our empire's influence as a whole while making our race seem less of an galactic dictatorship and more of a benevolent force for good in the galaxy.
Hearing about this and looking between each other and nodding the governing body came to agree with this plan, change the ways of how the galaxy views viltrumites for the better while taking over the galaxy.
It would slow down their plan of total domination initially but when word spreads of how 'good' their race was and how helpful they were it would easily lead to planet's willingness to submit to them as a result, getting the galaxy without needing to get their hands dirty to do so and any who turns against them would be viewed as the villains as a result.
"With that said we will spread this virus across the planet, it will lead to our race getting sick from it of course, however the projections show less than 5% of the population will possibly die, but the sacrifices are needed for us to protect our race as a whole." He says to which the council agrees to inoculate the entire race.
After the virus was dispersed through the air many Viltrumites fell ill, but only few died as a result, and after a month the entire virus had infected the entire race with only 2% of the total population succumbing to the virus.
But with only 2% of the population dying 800 million died as a result, the council never revealed the truth and put the full blame on Thaddeus himself after they posted what was the fullest described version of the Scourge Virus and it being made using his DNA.
Outraged at this and even more so when it was revealed to be the killer of their former emperor a task force with the strongest Viltrumites headed off planet to hunt him down.
And with the intergalactic locator set for him it didn't take long for the Viltrumites to find Thaddeus and his newly born Coalition of Planets under his command.
This resulted in what would be called the War of Revengence' where the Viltrumites would destroy multiple Worlds all in retribution for their hands in the assassination of their former Emperor Argall.
The Coalition didn't stand a chance with their planets destroyed and Thaddeuses head ripped off and put on a pike as a result of what he had done.
But afterwards the Viltrumites would officially begin the Hero Initiative and begin to slowly bring planets into their fold over time.
The Viltrumites would begin to branch out and not every member of Viltrum needed to be apart of the army though there was a mandatory 100 years of military service for everyone involved before they would be free to do their own things whether it was to stay in the army or be their own person at that.
Thragg after the War of Revengence ended decided to hold a competition to see who was the strongest of all Viltrumites in both the Male and Female categories.
While he knew that he was the strongest, he was bred to be the strongest, he desired to see those who were even remotely close to his power in this timeline.
The fights weren't to the death but until the other couldn't continue, whether they were knocked out cold or were unable to continue due to their injuries.
Conquest was of course the strongest male Viltrumite under Thragg, not surprising as he was the second only to him in the original timeline as well.
But as for who would be the strongest woman of this era was more interesting for him to watch.
Who knew who would be the next strongest female Viltrumite in this new Era of Viltrum.
Though that didn't matter to me much as I debated what path I should go down as I relaxed with my Pokemon while I was left to my thoughts.
"It's been a few days now, I think it's time I payed the Dragon Kingdom a visit, and then soon enough I will deal with the Elf Country myself." I said to myself as I let my Pokemon go back out to play after I fed them before putting my plans in motion once again.
