Chapter 13 - Volume 13: The Siege of Dimensions

Global Asset: Rebirth Of The Ruthless Scholar

Chapter 1: The Event Horizon

The Forbidden City of Multan was no longer resting on the Earth's crust; it was suspended in the "In-Between," a shimmering void where the laws of three-dimensional physics were being shredded. Outside the massive violet-gold dome, the continent-sized ships of the Outer Realm—known as Void-Arks—began to encircle the city. Their hulls were made of compressed stars, and their weapons were not fire or lasers, but "Conceptual Erasers."

Xun Long stood on the bridge of the Iron-Yard, his metallic skin glowing with a deep, pulsing violet light. He was no longer just thinking; his 1000x Intellect was now networked with the billions of threads in the Hive-Mind.

"Master, the first Ark has fired," Li Mei reported in Russian. Her physical form was becoming translucent, her soul nearly merged with the city's data-stream. "They are attempting to erase the concept of 'Gravity' within our dome."

Xun Long didn't blink. He spoke in French, his voice echoing through the neural links of every resident. "Let them erase it. We don't need gravity where we are going. Li Mei, initiate the 'Non-Euclidean Defense.' If they want to delete our laws, we will rewrite the logic of their own weapons."

With a flick of his finger, the Forbidden City didn't just move; it folded into itself. The conceptual attack from the Void-Ark passed through the space where the city had been, hitting nothing but the vacuum. The brutality of Xun Long's counter-calculation was absolute—he had predicted the attack's frequency before it was even fired.

Chapter 2: The Scholar's War-Room

Inside the city, life was a surreal nightmare. Since gravity was being manipulated, buildings were growing downward, and the golden mist of the Artery was flowing like rivers in the sky. Xun Long gathered the remains of the Hive-Mind's intellectual council—the digitized souls of the world's best scientists.

"We are not fighting aliens," he said in English, his voice resonant and terrifying. "We are fighting a civilization that has reached the end of their own timeline. They are not here to colonize us; they are here to 'Format' us so they can start over."

He began writing a series of equations in Urdu script that floated in the air like burning embers. "To defeat a conceptual enemy, we must become a conceptual weapon. We will use the Absolute Erasure trait not on their ships, but on their 'Intent.' If they forget why they are here, they will drift into the void forever."

One of the soul-threads asked a question in Mandarin. "But Master, if we erase their intent, won't we lose our own identity in the process?"

Xun Long looked at the glowing thread with his violet void eyes. "Identity is a luxury of the weak. In this war, there is only the Architect and the Deleted." He instantly erased the thread for showing hesitation, using its energy to power the next phase of the plan.

Chapter 3: The Subjugation of the Star-Walkers

The Outer Realm sent their ground forces: The Star-Walkers. These were beings made of solidified light, capable of walking through any physical barrier. They materialized inside the city's residential sectors, intending to harvest the Sovereign Race's mana.

Xun Long didn't send the Omega guards. He descended into the streets himself, his black hole halo casting a terrifying light on the mutated citizens.

"You are in my house," he whispered in French.

The Star-Walkers fired beams of pure existential dread. Xun Long simply inhaled the beams. Using his Universal Translator (Omni-Soul), he didn't just understand their language; he understood their biological "Frequency." He reached out and grabbed the lead Walker by the throat.

"Your civilization spent a billion years becoming light," he said in their ancient, clicking tongue. "I will spend one second turning you back into dust."

He used Absolute Erasure on the light-binding that held their molecules together. The Star-Walkers didn't just die; they turned into raw, unrefined mana, which was immediately absorbed by the city's streets. The brutality was efficient. He was using his enemies as a fuel source to keep the city flying.

Chapter 4: The Divine Bloodline's Rebellion

Deep in the Artery, the Divine Bloodline within Xun Long reached 65% integration. The power was so great that his physical form began to crack. Golden blood leaked from his eyes, and his six wings began to burn with a white flame that could melt dimensional walls.

"The Rebirth Of The New God is becoming too fast," he roared in Russian, his voice shaking the entire Forbidden City.

He was losing the ability to distinguish between his own thoughts and the thoughts of the Sleeping God. The "Villain" within him was fighting the "God" for control. In a moment of extreme brutality against himself, Xun Long used Void-King's Command to manually "re-wire" his own nervous system using mana-conductive filaments.

"I... am... the... Sovereign," he gasped in Urdu, his golden eye glowing with a mad intensity.

[Divine Bloodline Integration: 68% Complete.]

[New Trait Detected: Causality Manipulation (Minor).]

He could now see the "Threads of Cause and Effect." He saw that the only reason the Outer Realm was attacking was because he had reached this level. He was the cause of the apocalypse. He smiled, a dark, terrifying expression. "If I am the cause, then I am also the only solution. And the solution is total dominion."

Chapter 5: The Siege of the Hive-Mind

The Outer Realm launched a psychic virus into the Hive-Mind, attempting to turn the billions of connected souls against Xun Long. The city erupted in mental chaos. People began to scream in languages they didn't know, and the AI started to shut down the life-support systems.

Xun Long didn't try to "fix" the virus. He used Causality Manipulation to reverse the time of the Hive-Mind to a point five minutes before the infection. Then, he isolated the entry point.

"You think you can hack a god?" he asked in Mandarin, his voice booming through the mental link.

He identified the Outer Realm "Overseer" who was directing the virus. Instead of blocking the connection, he reversed it. He sent a billion years of human suffering, greed, and ruthless ambition back through the link. The Overseer, a being who had known only cold logic for eons, was instantly overwhelmed by the raw, brutal emotions of humanity.

The Void-Ark connected to the Overseer exploded as its pilot's brain turned into liquid. "Humanity's greatest weapon isn't intelligence," Xun Long told Li Mei in English. "It's our ability to be monsters."

Chapter 6: The Scholar's Darkest Calculation

As the war raged outside, Xun Long performed a final audit of the Forbidden City's resources. He realized that to take the city into the heart of the Outer Realm, he needed a "Soul-Engine" of immense power. The current mana wasn't enough.

"Li Mei," he said in French, his voice flat. "The 10% of the population that couldn't integrate with the Hive... the ones we kept in the 'Safe Zones'."

"Yes, Master?" Li Mei asked, a sense of dread filling her heart.

"They are no longer needed as observers," Xun Long said. "Convert them into Soul-Essence. We need the thrust to break the final dimensional barrier."

The brutality of the order made even the Hive-Mind flinch. Thousands of people, who believed they were safe, were processed into pure energy in a matter of seconds. Xun Long didn't look at the screens. He was looking at the stars. To him, they were not people; they were fuel for the Rebirth Of The New God. His strategic genius had completely overridden his humanity.

Chapter 7: The Rebirth Of The New God (Part 2)

The Forbidden City reached the center of the white rift. The fleet of Void-Arks formed a final barrier, their hulls glowing with enough energy to erase a solar system. But Xun Long didn't stop.

He stood at the very front of the city, his wings spread wide, his violet eyes consuming the light. He looked like the ultimate villain of a cosmic horror story.

"This Is The Rebirth Of The New God," he declared, his voice cutting through the vacuum.

Using Causality Manipulation, he deleted the "Effect" of the Void-Arks' weapons. They fired, but nothing happened. He then deleted the "Cause" of their hulls' existence. The massive ships simply dissolved into nothingness, leaving the path to the Outer Realm wide open.

"We are here," he whispered in Urdu to the silence.

The city entered the rift. The Earth was gone. The Universe was behind them. Ahead lay the realm of the gods—and they were about to find out that the new kid on the block was a monster.
