The house was warm.
Comfortable.
Lived in.
The kind of place that immediately made memories come back.
Shoes by the door.
TV humming quietly.
The smell of food already starting from the kitchen.
And sitting in the living room—
were two tiny kids.
A five-year-old Yuji.
And a five-year-old Takeru.
Silence.
Everyone stared.
Tiny Yuji was happily holding what looked like a toy dinosaur.
Tiny Takeru was upside down on the couch somehow.
Young Gojo pointed immediately.
"…Okay that one is definitely him."
Tiny Takeru looked over.
Then blinked at the massive group of strangers in his house.
"…Whoa."
Tiny Yuji pointed excitedly at older Yuji instantly.
"He looks like me!"
Older Yuji looked emotionally destroyed already.
"…I was so small…"
Takeru stared at his younger self with complete disbelief.
"…Why are you upside down."
Tiny Takeru blinked.
"…Why are YOU upside down?"
Everyone turned.
Adult Takeru was upside down against the wall somehow.
"…Oh."
Hakari started laughing immediately.
"IT'S INSTINCTUAL!"
Wasuke rubbed his forehead slowly.
Still trying to process everything.
"…Alright."
He pointed carefully at Yuji and Takeru.
"Explain."
The room quieted slightly.
Older Yuji exchanged a glance with Takeru.
Then nodded.
Takeru stepped forward first.
"…Okay."
A deep breath.
"This is gonna sound insane."
Wasuke crossed his arms.
"I figured that out already."
"…Fair."
Yuji rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
"We're from the future."
Wasuke stared.
"…What."
Takeru pointed between himself and little Takeru.
"That's me."
Then at Yuji.
"And that's him."
Little Yuji gasped dramatically.
"TIME TRAVEL!?"
Tiny Takeru pointed excitedly.
"THAT'S SO COOL!"
"…Yeah you'd say that," older Takeru muttered.
Wasuke looked exhausted already.
"…And the rest?"
Takeru pointed around the room one by one.
"Friends from our timeline."
Then toward young Gojo and the others.
"And friends from THIS timeline."
Young Gojo waved proudly.
"Hello civilian!"
"…Please stop talking," young Geto sighed.
Wasuke looked at the two Gojos.
Then the two Getos.
Then Sukuna.
Then back at Takeru and Yuji.
"…I need a drink."
"Reasonable," Higuruma admitted.
Tiny Yuji walked up to older Yuji slowly.
Looking up at him curiously.
"…Do I get taller?"
Older Yuji immediately laughed.
"…Yeah."
Tiny Takeru walked up to older Takeru.
Squinting suspiciously.
"…Why do you look tired."
The entire room burst out laughing.
Takeru looked genuinely offended.
"…I got shot!"
"…Skill issue."
Young Gojo nearly collapsed laughing again.
"…THEY HAVE THE SAME ENERGY!"
Tiny Takeru tilted his head.
"…What's a skill issue?"
"…Don't teach him that," Nanami said immediately.
Too late.
Tiny Yuji was already repeating it.
"Skill issue!"
Wasuke sighed deeply.
"…My house has been invaded by idiots."
"Correct," Megumi answered instantly.
Then—
something softer happened.
Tiny Yuji hugged older Yuji suddenly.
Without hesitation.
"…You seem sad."
Older Yuji froze.
Then slowly hugged him back carefully.
"…I'm okay now."
Nearby—
tiny Takeru stared at older Takeru quietly for a second.
Then walked over too.
"…You too."
And just like that—
older Takeru's expression cracked slightly.
"…Damn."
He crouched down slowly.
Then hugged his younger self carefully.
"…You're kinda cool, little dude."
Tiny Takeru grinned proudly.
"I know."
"…Yeah that's definitely me."
The room filled with quiet laughter again.
And for a little while—
future and past simply existed together.
Like nothing bad had ever happened between them.
