Chapter 324 - Chapter 4: Forty Fingers Problem

The forest had barely recovered from the last explanation.

Everyone was still mentally sorting through cursed technique stacking, shared rings, and reality-breaking copy systems.

Then Takeru spoke again.

"…Oh yeah, uhm guys?"

Instantly, every younger student stiffened.

Yuji slowly turned his head.

"…Why does that tone feel illegal."

Megumi didn't even look up.

"…I already hate this sentence."

Nobara sighed.

"…Just say it."

Takeru pointed at Sukuna casually.

"…I can make Sukuna be forty-finger Sukuna."

Silence.

A full stop in reality.

Even the wind paused for a second.

Then he continued.

"Because there are twenty fingers in this dimension, and I already ate twenty fingers from my timeline."

"So twenty times two is overpowered."

Yuji blinked slowly.

"…That is not how multiplication should work in reality."

Megumi immediately followed:

"…That is not how ANYTHING should work in reality."

Nobara pointed.

"…Why are you talking like math is a weapon system?"

Hakari muttered:

"…Because for him it is."

Kirara added:

"…Unfortunately."

Sukuna finally spoke.

Calm.

Measured.

Not surprised.

"…You're correct."

That alone made the younger students freeze again.

"…HE AGREED??" Yuji snapped.

Takeru shrugged.

"But Sukuna knows this and won't go feral with power."

A pause.

"Because remember—I manifested the form he's in."

Sukuna smirked slightly.

"…True."

Takeru continued, like he was explaining a casual game mechanic.

"And I can force him back into my mind space."

That did it.

Yuji took a step back.

"…EXCUSE ME?"

Megumi slowly turned toward Sukuna.

"…You can just be… removed?"

Sukuna clicked his tongue.

"…If I allow it."

Takeru nodded.

"Exactly."

Nanami finally spoke, voice flat with exhaustion.

"…I have accepted too many impossible statements today."

Haibara raised a hand slowly.

"…Is anyone else hearing this or am I the only sane one left?"

Silence answered him.

Geto exhaled slowly.

"…I've stopped trying to categorize his abilities."

Gojo leaned slightly back, arms behind his head.

"…Yeah, that checks out for him."

Younger Gojo pointed immediately.

"…WHY DOES THAT 'CHECK OUT' FOR HIM."

Older Gojo shrugged.

"…Because it does."

Tiny Yuji slowly raised his hand.

"…So theoretically…"

A pause.

"…He could just… turn Sukuna off?"

Takeru nodded.

"Basically."

Tiny Takeru blinked.

"…That feels like a final boss mechanic."

Sukuna let out a small amused breath.

"…I'm not that easy to turn off."

Takeru smiled slightly.

"No."

A pause.

"…But you are manageable."

The forest went quiet again.

Not from tension this time.

But from the sheer fact that nobody knew what to say anymore.

Yuji finally whispered:

"…I miss when fights were simple."

Megumi replied immediately:

"…We never had simple fights."

Nobara nodded.

"…Yeah. This is just worse now."

And Takeru?

He just stretched casually like he hadn't just redefined Sukuna as a toggleable system feature.

"…Anyway."

"Forty-finger problem solved."

Silence.

Nobody disagreed.

Because nobody knew how.
