Chapter 334 - Chapter 14: “Cursed Spirit Vacation Island”

The forest had finally gone quiet.

No more screaming curses.

No more explosions.

Just scattered craters and lingering cursed energy drifting through the air.

Takeru stretched his arms overhead.

"Alright."

A pause.

"Everyone can leave if they want."

The group blinked.

"Me and Geto are gonna stay."

Yuji tilted his head.

"…Stay and do what."

Takeru grinned.

"Advanced nonsense."

Megumi sighed immediately.

"…That explains nothing."

Older Gojo laughed.

"That explains everything actually."

Nanami looked spiritually exhausted already.

"…I'm leaving before he reinvents another system."

"That's fair," Takeru admitted.

One by one, most of the group started heading out.

Yuji dragged Nobara away before she could argue more.

Hakari and Kirara left together.

Haibara waved cheerfully.

Even Sukuna walked off with a bored expression, though he clearly intended to watch later somehow.

Eventually—

only Takeru and Geto remained in the ruined forest.

Silence settled.

Then Takeru snapped his fingers.

A massive barrier unfolded around them instantly.

But instead of darkness—

warm sunlight poured outward.

Geto blinked.

"…What."

The inside of the barrier looked completely different.

A giant island.

Crystal blue water.

Palm trees swaying in the wind.

Bright skies.

Soft sand.

It looked like peak summer vacation.

Geto stared for a second.

"…Why."

Takeru pointed proudly at the island.

"I just used a barrier on an island."

A pause.

"That way your cursed spirits can have fun until we need them."

Geto stared silently.

"…You made a cursed spirit resort."

"Correct."

Takeru started walking through the sand casually.

"Think about it."

He pointed dramatically.

"Once we need them, we summon them here."

He snapped his fingers again.

A curse appeared instantly beside him.

"And when they finish fighting…"

Another snap.

The curse vanished back to the island.

"…We put them back so they can chill while we get more."

The palm trees swayed peacefully behind him.

Geto looked genuinely speechless now.

"…You are optimizing curse morale."

"EXACTLY."

Takeru pointed again.

"Happy curses."

A beat.

"Happy workforce."

Geto slowly rubbed his forehead.

"…I don't think cursed spirits function like employees."

"Mine do."

Takeru then pointed toward Geto.

"But I think you only need one cursed spirit out here."

Geto tilted his head slightly.

"…Why."

"So you can fight without fists."

Takeru grinned.

"I'm keeping all mine at the island."

Geto looked out toward the fake ocean.

Then toward the barrier sky.

Then toward the cursed spirits already wandering around the beach area.

One was buried in sand.

Another was sitting in the water.

One horrifying curse was somehow wearing sunglasses.

Geto went completely silent.

"…I don't know how to react to this."

Takeru nodded wisely.

"Understandable."

Then he pointed toward a curse floating in a pool chair.

"…That one deserves a break."

The curse gave a thumbs up.

Geto covered part of his face.

Not out of stress this time.

But because he was actually laughing quietly.

"…You turned cursed spirit manipulation into property management."

"Correct again."

Then Takeru looked around proudly at the artificial paradise.

"…Honestly?"

A pause.

"I'd live here."

And somewhere beyond reality—

inside a barrier-created tropical island—

dozens of cursed spirits were now technically on paid vacation.
