A dark, gloomy room. Unclean. Unkept.
The curtains were drawn, with the only light source being the faint glow of the computer that sat in the middle of the room.
A young man sat there, glued to the computer, calling out gamer language that the average person would cringe at.
He slurped at the noodles, which seemed to be the only thing this man was eating. With dozens of empty noodle cups all circled around this poor excuse of what seems to be a makeshift desk.
Through several noodle slurps, he was somehow able to form phrases for his teammates. "COME ON! USE THE ULT! USE THE ULT YOU MORONS"
He was surprisingly fierce with his words, considering how frail he looked. Pale skin that hadn't seen sunlight in months, a thin body that was being energized purely on cup noodles, and dead gray eyes that seemed to only ever stare at a dim computer screen.
This man was quite literally the definition of unhealthy.
"BREAK THE TALISMAN-BRO, WE LOST, SEE? IF YOU GUYS HAD LISTENED TO ME, THIS WOULDN'T HAVE-"
The screen suddenly turned off, with the cramped room now completely shrouded in darkness.
"Huh?...What the hell?"
The man had stood up and tried to feel for the light switch against the walls. His noodle arms outstretched, trying to feel for basically anything.
And while tumbling around like a fool, he hit his head on the wall.
"Ow...."
He sat down on the sad and cold floor.
And just sat there.
For a while.
".....How....How did things-"
Zimmmmmm
"AGUHHH, W-WHat?!"
The man immediately covered his head, feeling like it was going to split in half.
He could feel the blood pulsing through every vein in his body, and his heart beating faster, and faster, and faster, until....nothing. Just.....silence.
This pathetic man was Meng Yinuo.
A disappointment of a son.
A forgettable student.
An ambitious-less human.
With a voice only in the game he had loved so much.
Nobody knew him, and he knew nobody.

A very long time had passed until Meng had awoken again, but this time, he had woken up in a room that he did not recognize.
A strong light shone through his closed eyelids, and there was a certain warmth to the room that he hadn't felt in such a long time.
Is this.....sunlight?
He stubbornly opened his eyes, just to see a view that he had never seen before.
A gorgeous white room, huge, with gold accents anywhere and everywhere. Huge windows that showed a beautiful view of a very well-maintained garden, and thick velvety, rich curtains that were drawn back, letting all the sunlight in. A tall ceiling, with intricate swirls of all shapes and sizes delicately carved into it. It was obvious that whoever made this room was a master of their craft, and that whoever owned this room had way too much money to spare.
Unconsciously, Meng weakly looked away from the sunlight, where his eyes then moved to see a large bed, with fancy-looking drapes all over it, and that's when he realized that he had been on the hard ground the whole time.
Cautiously getting up, he had then started smelling a rather pungent smell...that had actually been coming from himself? And he was also holding an empty bottle of alcohol!?
Meng Yinou was a degenerate, but he knew that he definitely wasn't an alcoholic! And waking up in this rich person's room, dressed in clothes that sure as heck were not his, something was very obviously wrong.
Meng shot up, now really wide awake, eyes darting around the room.
Had he been kidnapped? No, who the heck would even want to go through the trouble of kidnapping him? A broke college dropout who was living off of cup noodles for the last year. There's no way anyone would want his organs.
"hgggng"
Dammit, I can't think straight. My head hurts like crazy. Was I drugged?...
Meng stumbled around the room, making his way towards a long gold-framed mirror, just to see somebody else!
"W-what.....w-what the hell...W-What the hell?!"
His once gray eyes were replaced with sharp red eyes and sly eyebrows. He was still thin, but not particularly frail. His long, slim fingers touched his face; he felt a tall nose that wasn't his, and slim lips. The only thing this person had in common with Meng was their shared jet-black hair, but even then, this person had a much fuller head.
Meng stared at "himself"...eyes wide open, jaw dropped, but before he could take anything else in, someone opened the doors to the room!
Panicking, Meng tried to hide, but to no avail, and just ended up looking like an idiot fidgeting around.
"Young Master, His and Her Grace is waiting for you in the dining room."
A maid had walked in, hair neatly tied up, and despite being what seemed to be a maid, her uniform still seemed to be of very high quality. Her tone was very...monotone, and she looked at him with quite a bit of displeasure, even maybe glaring at him. Before Meng could even give her an answer, she swiftly walked away, but then turned around and made a rather rude comment.
"But it's not like you'll come anyway."
BAM
The doors slammed shut.
Meng Yinuo stood there, utterly appalled as to what was happening.
Did she just call me "Young Master"?
Meng was frantically trying to put the pieces together.
I seem to be a rich person, no, more of a spoiled son of sorts, seeing as that maid didn't show any courtesy to me. My parents are a Duke and a Duchess, but are actually well respected by that maid...unlike me.
Meng looked into the mirror again, then jumped at the red eyes that still looked back at him.
Ugh, I'll never get used to this.....wait...red eyes...spoiled...reeks of alcohol... am I-?
BAAM
The doors slammed open again, but this time, much more fiercely than before, and with a different person coming out, who had now confirmed Meng Yinuo's suspicions.
Her blond hair wooshed violently in the air; her face was contorted into an angry-looking chihuahua, ready to bite him. But there was one thing he couldn't take his eyes off of, her eyes, her sharp red eyes, just like his.
He had never seen her before, and yet, he had known her for a very long time.
This was Wen Shouyi, a main heroine and an SSS+ melee character in The Sword's Oath of Sacrifice, and also, his twin sister.
Meng Yinuo stared in disbelief. He had concluded before as to who he might have become, but now, this just sealed the deal for him.
"I'm.....Wen Hanzhi...."
Wen Hanzhi. The spoiled son of the Zhixu dukedom, who took his parents' love for granted, and a heinous villain, destined to just be the first small fry villain the main character defeats to gain his twin sister's trust at the beginning of the game, the game that Meng was playing so vigorously, just what had seemed to be a couple of hours ago.
Without a doubt, Meng Yinuo had transmigrated into his favorite video game, The Sword's Oath of Sacrifice, as an insignificant NPC villain.
