As soon as Tara got to the lobby of the restaurant, she exhaled deeply in an attempt to calm her nerves.
"What was that?" Tiana asked in amazement.
Tara only gave her a half-hearted smile before replying, "Surviving, girl."
"Wow, you've got a lot on your plate, and I'm guessing even more is coming," Kalon chimed in.
Kahan looked at the three girls chatting before speaking up. "Tara, what was all that legal stuff you were talking about in there?"
"Oh, you mean about Dana?" Tara asked.
"Yep," Kahan replied.
"Well, my cousin has been involved in illegal dealings with people from the underground, and surprisingly, this restaurant is one of their open grounds," Tara replied nonchalantly.
"Damn, bro, your fiancée sure knows how to poke where she shouldn't," Tiana said in shocked amusement.
Kahan ignored Tiana's comment and looked at Tara curiously. "How did you know?"
