"I know you are always with me," Tara said to her friends.
"Okay, sorry to burst the chat, but we'll be late. It's almost eight and we haven't left yet," Tiana said.
"Oh right, the part we almost forgot about," Anika said with a chuckle.
"Okay then, let's go," Kalon said as she stood up. The rest stood and followed her out the door as they left for the party.
The Wanskin Mansion.......
The mansion was bustling with music, soft chatter, and a joyous atmosphere.
"When do you think she will come?" Venessa whispered to Frank.
Frank turned to look at Venessa and replied, "I don't know. After all, she hardly gives people face, but she will come."
Venessa and Frank were standing off to the side like every other guest as they conversed. They spoke in low voices, making it difficult for those around them to hear what they were discussing.
A few minutes later, they saw Mr. and Mrs. Logan approach them.
