Tara looked intently at the door that Cain and Jade had just walked out of before she spoke.
"Check if they have already left," she said as she looked at Azan.
Azan nodded in acknowledgment before doing as he was instructed. Once he saw that all was clear, he closed the door and walked over to stand near Tara, maintaining a respectful distance.
Kalon took that time to wake Anika and Tiana.
"Don't waste time. Just tell me how the investigation went," Tara said directly.
Azan glanced around the hospital room and went to sit on the leisure couch. He smiled and asked, "How are you doing now?"
Tara sighed and said, "I'm not in for any pleasantries. Just tell me how things went."
"Well, it went okay, but I found a couple of interesting things," he said, amused.
"What could that be?" Anika chimed in.
Azan looked at Anika in confusion before saying, "Who's this beautiful lady?" he asked with a smirk.
