Pov : *I walked through the forest lost and entered a castle*
The forest feels endless. The trees towered, their bald and crooked branches gripping the gray sky, blocking the dimmering afternoon sunlight. The air felt cold and humid, bringing the smell of wet earth and something that was ... rotten. You step on the dry leaves that fall, the sound sounding too loud amidst the stifling silence.
You've been walking for hours. The map that looked so clear this afternoon no longer makes sense. The path you followed has disappeared, covered in lush bushes. Fatigue begins to eat away at your body, and panic begins to creep up your chest. Where are you? How did you get here?
Suddenly, in the distance, through the gap between the trees, you see something. Not a tree, not a stone. Building structure. A towering tower, made of dull gray stone. You speed up your pace, driven by a glimmer of hope.
The closer you get, the clearer it will become. A castle. The castle is magnificent, but at the same time looks old and neglected. The thick walls are overgrown with moss and vines. Its tall, narrow windows look dark and empty, like eyes looking at you coldly.
In front of the castle, there was a large, rusty iron gate. The gate opened slightly, as if inviting you in. You hesitated for a moment. Your mind is filled with stories of haunted castles and creatures hiding in the dark. But the bone-crushing cold and extreme fatigue leave you with no other choice. You step forward, past the rusty iron gate.
Inside, you're greeted by a sprawling castle courtyard. The ground here is covered with gravel and weeds. In the middle of the courtyard, there is a dry fountain, decorated with statues of strange and terrifying mythological creatures.
You walk towards the main entrance of the castle. The door is made of thick oak and decorated with intricate carvings. You knock on that door, hoping that someone is inside. But there is no answer. You try to turn the door handle, and it opens with a long creak.
You step into the castle. The air inside feels colder than outside. The room was dark and stuffy, illuminated only by a small amount of light coming in through the tall windows. The floor is made of cold stone, and the walls are decorated with old, worn-out tapestry.
You walk down a long, dark alley. The sound of your footsteps echoes in the silence. Suddenly, you hear something. A faint sound of laughter rang out from a distance. You stop, your heart racing. You sharpen your hearing, trying to find the source of the sound. The laughter rang out again, this time a little clearer. Laughter that... cruel.
You keep going, driven by a mixture of curiosity and fear. You pass through tightly closed doors, some of which are locked. Finally, you arrive at a large room. The room seemed to be a banquet hall. In the middle of the room was a long table full of dirty dishes and half-empty wine glasses.
At the end of the room, on a high chair, sat a woman. She wore a long, elegant white dress, and a wide hat that covered part of her face. He's looking at you with a cold smile.
"Welcome," he said, his voice melodious but piercing. "I've been waiting for you."
Me : Ah who are you?
The woman slowly stood up from her large chair. His movements are very graceful, but you notice something odd—he doesn't stop growing. His head continued to rise past the height of a normal human, until his hat almost touched the crystal chandelier on the ceiling of the room.
He stepped forward, and every slam of his shoe on the marble floor sounded like a small thump that shook the guts.
"Your manners are very lacking for a guest who enters uninvited," he said in a contemptuous tone, but a faint smile still adorned his fiery red lips. "But I'll forgive you... for now."
He stopped right in front of you, making you have to look up just to see his face. The pungent scent of rose perfume mixed with a faint smell of iron wafting from her direction.
"I am the owner of this castle. My name is Alcina Dimitrescu," he said as he adjusted the position of his black gloves. "And you... You're just a little mouse lost in my wine cellar."
Suddenly, there was the humming sound of thousands of insects from behind the dark pillars behind him. Three young female figures emerged from the darkness, surrounding you with a shrill little laugh.
"Mom... is this a new toy for us?" asked one of them, Bela, licking her bloodstained lips.
Me : *I ran to the outside door*
You twisted your body and spurred your legs as hard as you could towards the large wooden door you had entered earlier. Your heart is racing, pumping adrenaline that makes your tiredness disappear instantly. The sound of your footsteps echoed loudly on the cold stone floor.
"Oh, look! This little rat is trying to run away!" shouted Daniela with a squeaky laugh.
Just as your hand almost touched the thick oak door handle, the air in front of you suddenly cooled drastically. Thousands of pitch black flies emerged from the empty air, swirling around to form a small storm vortex blocking the way out.
Bzzzzzztt!
In an instant, the vortex of the fly solidified into the figure of Cassandra. He stands right in front of the door, blocking your path with a bloodthirsty grin. In his hand, he held a rusty meat cutter scythe.
"Where are you going in a hurry?" whispered Cassandra, her face only inches from yours. The stench of the insects pierces your nose.
From behind, the sound of Lady Dimitrescu's heavy footsteps approached casually. He doesn't have to run; His wide footsteps made him catch up quickly.
"Don't be rude to our guests, Cassandra," said Lady Dimitrescu in a calm but threatening tone. "He has fresh blood... I can feel it from here."
You're now stuck. In front of you is Cassandra with her scythe, behind you is the towering Lady Dimitrescu, and at your sides are Bela and Daniela who are slowly closing your space for movement.
Pov : *i'm fainting*
