Peter personally fastened the hairpin onto Gwen's smooth, short blonde hair and explained:
"It's called 'Shun Shun Rikka.' It's a divine artifact I just obtained, and I think it suits you perfectly!"
The moment he finished speaking, the hairpin merged into Gwen's hair and vanished.
Gwen only felt a warm and wondrous power surge into her body, and information about 'Rejection' and 'Healing' appeared in her mind.
Noticing Gwen's expression as she clearly processed the information, Peter couldn't help but smile slightly and said:
"Give it a try. Believe me, its effect will definitely surprise you."
Hearing this, Gwen nodded subconsciously.
She then reached out her hand and attempted to chant:
"Hinagiku, Baigon, Lily! Santen Kesshun!"
The moment the chant ended, three points of light flew from her hair, and in the blink of an eye, they condensed into a triangular orange light shield in front of her.
Gwen examined the light shield before her with curiosity. After a moment of hesitation, she punched it with her arm covered by the vibranium suit!
Boom!
Accompanied by a loud bang, ripples spread across the surface of the light shield. However, once the ripples faded, not even a single crack had appeared.
"This..."
Gwen couldn't help but be stunned, her beautiful eyes filled with joy!
As New York City's Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, she could already foresee how many lives she could save from untimely deaths now that she possessed this ability.
While she was rejoicing over the power of the Shun Shun Rikka, Peter had already quietly wrapped his arms around her slender waist from behind and whispered in her ear:
"Do you like it?"
"That goes without saying! You know what? I've dreamed of having the same ability as you to manifest shields and heal others... If I had this, I could save so many more people who could have been saved."
At this point, Gwen couldn't help but turn her head and kiss Peter's lips. After a long while, she spoke, her breathing slightly hurried:
"Peter, I must express my gratitude to you on behalf of the people of New York."
"If anyone should be expressing gratitude, it should be me! I can't serve the people of New York 24 hours a day like you do."
As Peter spoke, he picked Gwen up by the waist, a somewhat roguish smile appearing on his face:
"However... my way of expressing gratitude isn't quite so perfunctory!"
...
After working hard at Gwen's house for several hours and expressing his gratitude to her on behalf of the citizens of New York, Peter took out the eye of aurora and teleported directly to Felicia's apartment.
Felicia was currently sitting in front of her vanity mirror doing her skincare. She was startled by Peter's sudden appearance, but then she smiled and leaned in, sniffing the scent on Peter like a little kitten:
"Huh~ You smell like Gwen. It seems there really is a distinction in status between the first wife and the second wife~"
Seeing her intentionally making a face like a resentful woman from a harem, Peter couldn't help but find it amusing and slapped her on the rear:
"Stop that, or next time I'll go straight to Sif's place."
Felicia wasn't angry upon hearing this; she simply continued her aggrieved act and sighed:
"Alas~ Men in this world are all the same, always favoring the new and getting tired of the old. You finally said what was in your heart... mmm~"
Before she could finish, Peter lost interest in continuing the act with her and directly blocked her mouth, starting the punishment session for the dramatic little wildcat.
Only after the little wildcat meowed, "Master, I was wrong~" did Peter let Felicia go. He then took out the Ten Rings from his storage ring and placed them on Felicia's hand.
In an instant, an ancient and violent power surged into Felicia's body. The originally dim Ten Rings became crystal clear after finding a new Master, their prestige instantly maximized.
Feeling the massive energy surging in her arm, Felicia subconsciously threw a punch toward her courtyard.
Boom!
A sonic boom exploded in the air. Even though it was just a casual punch, the terrifying impact completely trashed the entire courtyard, leaving a massive crater dozens of meters in diameter on the ground.
"Wow~" Felicia's eyes lit up the moment she saw the power.
She had previously excelled in speed and control, but now with the amplification of the Ten Rings, she had finally added the last piece of the puzzle: destructive power.
What do you call a Hexagon Goddess! (Tactical lean back)
"Do you like it?" Peter whispered in her ear.
"I love it to death." Felicia immediately turned around and proactively kissed him, her eyes full of desire.
Seeing her like this, Peter couldn't help but smile bitterly in his heart.
He had originally planned to find some time to visit Sif and Natasha later, but now it seemed he wouldn't be able to get away tonight~
...
While Peter was busy deepening his relationship with Felicia,
Deep in the vast reaches of the Universe, on a massive floating throne, a burly figure with purple skin and a lined chin was resting with his eyes closed.
This person was none other than the ruler of Titan, Thanos.
Even as he sat there quietly, the surrounding air seemed to tremble because of his presence.
"My Lord." Ebony Maw, who wore a tuxedo and had an elegant posture despite his somewhat unsightly appearance, knelt respectfully beneath the throne and spoke with a frown.
"That Little Prince of Asgard is far more cowardly than I imagined. He was even terrified by an Earthling and is unwilling to go to Earth to steal the Space Stone and open the portal no matter what."
"Oh?"
Thanos, who had been resting with his eyes closed, slowly opened them, a hint of interest appearing in his green eyes.
"Even if that fellow doesn't have true Asgardian blood, he is still the offspring of a Frost Giant. How could he fear a mere Earthling? Bring him to see me."
"As you command!"
A moment later, Loki was brought up, escorted by two Chitauri soldiers.
Where was the elegance the God of Mischief once had in Asgard?
His clothes were tattered and his hair was a mess; he looked even more wretched than a beggar.
"Loki."
Thanos spoke slowly, his voice possessing a steady refinement that was completely disproportionate to his size:
"When you had nowhere else to go, I was the one who disregarded the pressure from Asgard and took you in without hesitation."
"But now, you aren't even willing to complete a trivial matter for me?"
"You must give me a reasonable explanation!"
His voice sounded refined and gentle, but the authority within it was chilling.
Loki looked at Thanos and couldn't help but constantly compare him to that arrogant and hubristic Earthling.
He couldn't help but mutter to himself:
This man called Thanos is definitely the strongest person he has ever seen in his life, aside from his father and that Peter Parker.
Furthermore, he has an endless army... perhaps this guy really can defeat that Midgardian who is as powerful as a monster?
