Listening to Loki's mumbling, which sounded like he had lost his mind, Ebony Maw couldn't help but make an expression like the "Old man, subway, phone.jpg" meme.
"Idiot, please go be crazy somewhere else!"
The corners of Ebony Maw's mouth curled into a mocking arc. He looked at Loki, unable to resist the urge to scold him.
But before he could speak, a deep and majestic voice stopped him first:
"Your Highness Loki."
Thanos sat on his throne, his massive frame exuding a majestic pressure like a mountain.
"It seems you hold this Guardian of Earth in high regard."
Loki's Adam's apple bobbed. Opposite him, those deep eyes seemed to contain enough power to extinguish an entire galaxy.
"I am merely... stating facts. That guy is as strong as a bottomless abyss; you never know where his limits lie."
"An abyss?" Thanos let out a cold laugh, then crushed the goblet in his hand, which was made of ultra-high-hardness metal:
"But before Thanos, even a black hole must bow down!"
With that, he shifted his gaze from Loki to the respectful Ebony Maw.
"Since Your Highness Loki still has concerns about the strength of our Titan, let him see our true power."
Thanos's fingers tapped lightly on the armrest, producing a dull sound.
"Ebony Maw, contact Supergiant and Black Dwarf. Tell them game time is over. I give them ten minutes to deal with those interesting ants."
"As you command, my Master." Ebony Maw bowed to accept the order, a trace of cruel excitement flashing in his eyes.
Five thousand meters above in the sky, inside the largest Chitauri whale ship, two figures were watching the battle below.
One was a tall, burly, grim-looking man with gray-brown skin, carrying a giant axe on his shoulder—Black Dwarf.
The other was a slender female with deep blue skin and eerie light flowing in her eyes—Supergiant.
"What a boring play."
Supergiant yawned and said lazily, "The struggles of these lower life forms have no entertainment value at all."
Black Dwarf stared fixedly at Hulk and Alexei, a hideous grin appearing on his ugly face: "I'd like to see if those two big bugs can satisfy me!"
Just then, Ebony Maw's order reached their minds.
The two exchanged a glance. The next second, without any hesitation, they opened the mothership's hatch and jumped straight down from thousands of meters in the air.
Black Dwarf's nearly invincible body could easily withstand the Impact of the fall and the strong air currents.
As for Supergiant, a pale blue force field appeared in front of her, and no matter how strong the high-altitude airflow was, it couldn't blow her hood open.
The two bodies turned into two burning meteors, trailing long flames, and with an unstoppable momentum, they smashed directly toward the central battlefield of Manhattan!
"Boom!!!"
"Boom!!!"
Two loud bangs rang out almost simultaneously! The entire island of Manhattan shook violently, as if a magnitude seven earthquake had occurred!
Dust and smoke shot into the sky, and a deep pit resembling a crater formed visibly on the ground.
At this moment, all the Superheroes and Chitauri Soldiers who were fighting stopped in unison, looking toward the center of the explosion in shock.
When the dust settled, two figures exuding terrifying auras slowly walked out of the giant pit.
In that instant, an unprecedented sense of oppression enveloped the entire battlefield.
"Roar!" Hulk, who was closest, was the first to react.
As the embodiment of rage, unless someone could beat him up like Peter did, he would never submit.
He roared and took large strides, charging toward the burly Black Dwarf like an out-of-control green tank!
"Interesting!" Black Dwarf grinned, revealing a mouthful of hideous fangs.
He didn't use his giant axe, but instead let out a roar of his own and charged straight at Hulk!
The two figures, under the gaze of countless people at the scene and in the underground safe house, collided heavily!
"Bang!" A visible shockwave formed in the air.
The momentum was so massive that it even turned the already damaged surrounding buildings into dust.
But the expected scene of evenly matched combat and mutual destruction did not occur.
Under the astonished gaze of Gwen and the others, Hulk, who could almost never be stopped by physical attacks, was sent flying by Black Dwarf's collision.
His massive body crashed through three skyscrapers in succession before barely stopping.
On the other hand, Black Dwarf only took three steps back, shook his big head, and quickly returned to normal.
Not only that, he could even sprint toward the distant Hulk.
When Black Dwarf reached Hulk, Hulk had just regained his senses. He let out an angry roar, and his muscles became even more swollen.
The two had no technique to speak of; it was pure, punch-for-punch combat.
But even though it was a brutal exchange of blows, Black Dwarf didn't show a trace of pain.
Conversely, Hulk let out a painful roar every time he was hit!
"Green bug, you disappoint me!"
As he spoke, Black Dwarf easily caught the giant fist Hulk swung at him, then grabbed Hulk's arm and kneed him.
"Crack!" A tooth-aching sound of bone breaking rang out!
Hulk's thick arm, comparable to an elephant's leg, was actually snapped by him!
"Roar—!" The intense pain made Hulk let out a painful howl.
He roared madly, his muscles visibly swelling even more, and his eyes faintly turning crimson!
"Well done, Black Dwarf~" A hoarse female voice suddenly came from behind.
Hulk instinctively swung a punch with his whole body, but before the fist could hit Supergiant, it was blocked by an invisible force field.
Following that, strange blue energy acted on Hulk, causing his originally angry eyes to gradually become vacant.
Then, Hulk completely ignored Black Dwarf behind him and instead charged toward Captain America not far away.
Captain America was startled and couldn't help but shout, "Bruce, it's me!"
"Boom!" Hulk's fist slammed into the Vibranium shield. Although the huge Impact wasn't enough to smash the shield, it sent Captain America flying, shield and all.
Captain America's body crashed through who knows how many buildings. When he landed, he spat out blood, his body hunching and twitching unconsciously.
Captain America's spine had been snapped by that blow!
"Captain!" Gwen was startled and fired a web, quickly rushing toward Captain America.
Noticing Supergiant looking at Gwen with interest, Daisy and Natasha exchanged a glance and, without thinking, rushed toward Supergiant: "Don't even think about interfering with Ghost-Spider!"
However, before they could get close, Supergiant raised her hand and tapped lightly at the two.
The next second, Daisy and Natasha felt an invisible force instantly envelop their entire bodies, as if countless invisible hands were pinning them firmly in place, unable to move!
