The Lizard smiled maliciously as Reed turned around in shock. The Lizard punched Richards in the face and sent him flying down while dropping Yuri. The Lizard grinned as he pounced on Yuri, who stared at him with eyes full of horror.
"Hurt the spider, hurt the spider, hurt the spider!" the Lizard repeated constantly. "If I cannot hurt the spider, I will hurt its mate."
"AHHHH!" Yuri screamed as the Lizard raised his hand and extended his claws, her eyes widening in pain as the Lizard stabbed her. "S.... Spider-Man...."
The Lizard roared as it threw Yuri off the rooftop.
When he saw that, he slowly began to lose his vision along with control of his mind. The crowd screamed as Daredevil stepped forward and leaped, catching Yuri in midair before she hit the ground.
Wade and Logan ran toward the Lizard as it landed right in front of him, but he just ignored it.
His vision gradually began to go black, and he felt something primal trying to break free from him.
He raised his head and behind the mask there was only a face full of pain and pure fury. Letting out a growl, his four legs came out from his back.
"Kill."
Johnny could not react when the four legs pierced his shoulder and thigh.
"AHHHH-...."
"Arck." Spider-Man removed his legs and extended his hands, breaking the handcuffs in the process.
Throwing a hook to his face, kicking him in the stomach and sending him flying into the air. Then four lines of webbing shot out from the tips of his legs and enveloped him in a cocoon.
Grabbing the webs tightly, he jumped and spun, then slammed him hard onto the asphalt.
"Johnny! How did you-...." Richards saw how it all happened in a few seconds.
He quickly got over the fright the Lizard had given him and prepared to fight, but stopped mid-sentence when he saw what was in front of him.
Reed smelled the sickly scent of blood, and behind Spider-Man appeared a giant spider with large eyes that glowed red.
Reed had frozen when he saw the giant spider and began to tremble when he saw him. He saw his legs and stingers glow in the darkness. Spider-Man had only a look full of fury when he saw Richards.
"You...." He sighed as he started walking toward him, only for Reed to start backing away. But his vision had been caught by the Lizard, who had slammed Wolverine into Wade. "I am going to kill you!" he yelled as he ran toward the Lizard.
He raised his left arm and blocked the fist that had been aimed at his face, then used his legs and pierced its feet, pinning it to the ground.
The Lizard roared in pain, pain that had been amplified when he used his two stingers and stabbed it in the stomach. Using his other legs he slashed its face and tore off a good chunk of skin.
"Shit! Shit! This is not how it was supposed to be!" Richards cursed himself as he turned to leave. "I need to get mutant suppressants! I need esc-...."
Reed felt his blood run cold when he stopped abruptly. He felt his body being pushed back, causing him to fall, and something began to drag him backward.
"Where do you think you are going?" Spider-Man growled as he turned to face Richards, throwing the bloodied Lizard against a wall.
He shot a web to keep him trapped; the web was laced with a mixture of poison and a sedative, causing the Lizard to begin weakening. Using what little sanity he had left, he pulled a syringe from his utility belt and threw it at the Lizard, plunging it right into the side of his neck.
The Lizard began to convulse and then started to transform back into his human form. Pulling his leg back forcefully, he pulled Richards toward him. Then he extended his stingers and imbued them with bioelectricity. "Come here, you little bastard."
"Shit-...." Richards managed to avoid being stabbed by his stingers using his elastic body, moving his torso to avoid being impaled, but he could not react in time when two of his legs tore at his face. "AHHHH!"
Lying on the ground, he clutched his bloodied face, groaning in pain.
Blood dripped from his legs.
Spider-Man lifted his leg and stomped on his chest, using bioelectricity on his foot.
Reed coughed up blood. As he felt his body weaken, his legs had inflicted two diagonal cuts on his face.
One had damaged his right eye, and the other had left a nasty gash across his nose, nearly splitting it in two.
"Why did you do this?!" he yelled as he stabbed him in the neck. The stinger was about to pierce his neck, but Wolverine was able to intercept it in time, preventing it from killing him.
"I know how you feel.... but you need to stop before you do something that will make you-...."
"Get out of my way!" He hit him with his leg. Then he grabbed him by the neck and threw him into a car.
"I will not regret ridding the world of a scumbag called Reed Richards! I am going to enjoy this more than you can imagine."
"Stop-...." Wolverine jumped to stop him once more, but using his leg he threw him to the ground and wrapped him in a cocoon.
"You think.... You think you will get away with it-...."
"Oh, yeah, I believe it," Spider-Man said as he grabbed Richards by the legs and slammed him to the ground.
"Fuck! Suf-...." He spat blood when he threw him and made him crash into a wall.
"AHHHH!" He jumped and hit him with a double kick, sending him crashing through several walls.
He growled as Richards wrapped his limbs around his fist.
Using his super strength, he pulled him back and, with his left hand charged with bioelectricity, punched him in the face.
Normally, punches or bullets did not work on Richards, but using his bioelectricity, he overloaded his neurons, causing his motor functions to briefly fail and shutting down his elasticity. This made him vulnerable to damage.
Grabbing his head, he headbutted him in the nose, further disfiguring his face. Looking at the barely recognizable and conscious Reed Richards, he felt his heart fill with rage. "I will ruin your miserable life!"
His claws emerged from his fingers and he buried them in Richards' chest, injecting him with a poison he had specifically made for him thanks to a blood sample he had taken while Richards was so absorbed in his laboratory.
The poison contained a bit of the Crane serum but modified.
Electrocuting him again, he grabbed him by the head and threw him into the street. The crowd moved away when they saw the sinister-looking Spider-Man.
"I.... I am sorry! I am sor-...."
"AHHHH!" Richards felt something was wrong when he tried to access his powers, but he could not. He tried to crawl backwards, but Spider-Man stepped on his leg, causing it to break.
"Apologies will not bring Yuri back!" he said as he used his legs to pierce through Reed's arms and legs.
"No, no, no!"
"Spider-Man! Stop it! He is not worth it!" Dan shouted, but Spider-Man did not pay attention. The crowd of spectators had grown considerably.
"Ree-...."
"Oh my God!" Susan gasped as she walked out of the crowd.
"Let him go, Spider-Man!" The Thing yelled as he tried to run, but Wade pointed the gun at his head and signaled him to stay still.
"This is not about you, Ton-Ton," Wade joked as The Thing took a step forward in a defiant manner.
"Take one more step, go ahead, I dare you. These Adamantium bullets can blow Wolvy's brains out. Want to know what they can do to you?" The Thing stood still while giving him an annoyed face.
"Well done, Ton-Ton. Maybe I will give you a piece of my mind."
"Spider-Man! She is alive!" Daredevil said, making him stop just as he was about to kill Richards.
"What," he stopped, unable to believe it.
"She is alive! Her heart had momentarily stopped, but I got it pumping again using chest compressions."
He looked at the piece of garbage that was shaped like Richards and groaned.
"S-She is still alive, I can-...."
"Arck!" Spider-Man retracted his claws and stingers, and kicked Richards out of his sight.
"Filthy trash!" he exclaimed as Dan sighed in relief before gesturing to his men to arrest Reed. Another team escorted the unconscious Doctor Connors.
