Chapter 112 - Chapter 112: Logan Is Sick?

"Cough, cough. Who is your friend, Logan?"

Turning around, Peter saw the person he had been curious about, a woman of Ororo's particular presence, wondering how she was as she was if Jean was young, but then he remembered the amount of films and the mess the X-Men had done with the timeline, and his curiosity passed because he did not want a migraine from thinking about it more deeply.

"I am Jason Todd, a friend of Logan's."

Out of the corner of his eye he saw Logan, who growled at him when he heard that. "I will take that as a yes. And you are?"

"I am Ororo Munroe," she said.

He saw her muscles tense, along with everyone else in the room, ready to attack, except for Logan, Jean, and Rogue, who was still in shock. "These are Hank McCoy, Scott Summers, Jean Grey, Charles Xavier, and I suppose you already know Rogue."

She pointed to each of them and introduced them.

"Nice to meet you all," he said, giving a polite smile and trying to lighten the mood, which only made things worse.

Not only that, but he felt a certain hostility coming from a certain future Hitler 2.0.

'It seems I did not get the Scott from the films, who was much less arrogant than his adult version. It seems he only maintains his youthful appearance, but his attitude is similar to that of his adult version. I feel sorry for these poor people for putting up with him 24 hours a day,' especially the woman he had great respect for.

He said this while looking at Ororo, which surprised her along with those present.

She looked behind her and saw that there was no one there, so she pointed to herself.

"Me?"

"Yes, you. You are admirable because you keep that rabid dog under control," he said, pointing behind him at Logan, who just growled and took a drag from his cigar. "He is like Hellboy and you are like Liz."

The comment was strange to everyone except Logan, because he was not interested in what they were talking about. And Scott, if looks could kill, would already be dust in a three-meter hole.

"Why do you say that?" she asked, puzzled, along with the others except for those mentioned.

"Well, after all, are you his.... lover? Girlfriend? Or friend with benefits? By the way, your next comment will be 'How did you know?'" he said indifferently, ignoring her blush, as he took off his sunglasses and put them in one of his pants pockets, then pulled out a piece of strawberry-flavored gum.

"How did you Kno-...." She stopped in shock, having repeated the exact words he predicted.

"And I will answer for it, because Logan's scent is very, very strong on your body. Almost like that couple over there," he said, pointing at Scott and Jean.

"But theirs is lighter, meaning they have not been intimate. Logan and Hank are not the only ones with heightened senses. Mine are much better than theirs, much more sensitive, and they pick up on things those two do not, or if they do, I do it better."

The comment was enough to surprise everyone except Logan and Scott.

Catching Jean's eye, he glanced slightly at a specific part of her body that is secreting love juices, which she also looked at, and then blushed intensely.

"My senses are so sensitive that they picked up on things I do not want to or should not. At one point it was annoying, but I am a fast learner so it did not take long to control them down to an enhanced human level, similar to Logan's."

"How sensitive are your senses?" Rogue asked once she had recovered from the previous shock.

He looked at her for a few seconds, which made her uncomfortable, until he spoke. "Are you sure you want to know?"

"Yes."

"I warned you," he said with a shrug. "My senses are so sensitive that I know you used your coconut and jasmine conditioner three days ago. I know you had roast beef and fries for lunch two days ago."

This made everyone except Logan's eyes widen, and some started sweating.

Rogue's eyes widened in astonishment and she unconsciously began to get nervous. "I know you are a little hungry, slightly tired, and you are also starting to release large amounts of dopamine, serotonin, endorphins, and oxytocin. In other words, you are happy about the previous accident,"

He said, making Jean blush again. "And I know that the more I talk, the faster your hearts race, except for Logan's." He looked at everyone in the room, obviously not Logan.

He then leaned in slightly toward Rogue and delivered the final observation in a low, precise, and completely clinical tone, "Also, your hands smell like an excess of estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. That's the scientific name for it."

A vulgar way to put it would be that I can still smell the vaginal fluid on your hands from last night~

Moving away from her ear, he saw her face flush intensely.

Looking around the room, he saw a variety of reactions. Charles's eyes were wide, like a deer about to be hit by a car.

Hank stared at the floor, occasionally glancing at the ceiling.

Ororo still wore a look of astonishment. Scott had his usual blank expression. Logan had a small smile and a raised eyebrow.

Jean stared in amazement before hiding her hands behind her back as if she had been caught red-handed, just like a little girl. He smiled at her and winked, letting her know he was aware.

He saw Scott frown and raise his hand, and open his mouth, but suddenly his mouth closed and he lowered his hand, and his face went blank.

Looking at Charles, he saw that he was lightly using his powers on Scott. All of this was happening while Jean did not notice and tried not to look at Jason.

'Oh, how lovely. Charles worrying about the future Hitler who will condemn all mutants.'

He thought sarcastically and mockingly at Xavier's intentions. Ignoring everyone, he concentrated on Logan. "By the way, think fast."

He searched in his right pocket and threw something to Logan who caught it without blinking.

Once Logan caught the object, everyone focused on what he had, except Scott, who looked like a statue, which no one noticed, not even Jean, who was next to him.

When Logan opened his hand completely, he saw that what he had was a vial of medicine with the name Antimatium-V, which surprised everyone, and they looked at Jason in confusion.

"I do not know if you are an idiot or not, bub, but I have a healing factor that cures me of everything. I do not need stupid little pills," Logan said while looking at him like an idiot.

"You should say 'thank you,' you ungrateful pig," Jason said irritably.

"What you have in your hand are not just stupid little pills. They are pills that cure the poisoning running through your body because of your Adamantium skeleton. You decide whether you want to take them or not."

When he said that, everyone was surprised to learn that Logan was being poisoned and they had not known it.

Ororo put on a worried face which quickly changed to an angry one, which Logan noticed, causing him to raise an eyebrow.

"What is wrong, Ro?"

"James Logan Howlett, you will take those pills or I will use you as a lightning rod," she said, and thunder could be heard from outside.

Watching Logan for a few brief seconds, he smelled a tiny hint of fear seeping into him, making him smile broadly. He also smelled the small trace of fear from the others, which made him smile even more.

'That's what you get for being a slut and showing up now. I know who wears the pants in this mansion. They should change their name from X-Men to X-Whipped.'

"How did you find out? Every time I tested Logan, I never detected anything," Hank asked, which made Jason look at him with a superior smile.

"Just because I have this muscular physique does not mean I am an idiot, McCoy. I am not just muscle without brains. Underneath all this muscle mass, I have a bit of a scientist in me. If you want, you can study the pills to see if you can find a cure for someone at the institute, or whatever your imagination desires." Hank nodded, then looked at the pills as if they were gold.

"Young Todd never said why he came, and I do not think it was to give Logan some pills," Charles said.

"I would also like to ask a question and make a proposal."

Everyone present realized what the professor was about to do. Logan rolled his eyes. Rogue and Jean looked at Jason, as did Hank and Ororo.

"I do not need to be a telepath to know your next word, and no, I have no intention of entering your Meta-Human school, since I do not see the point in training if I already master my abilities," Jason said indifferently.

Everyone except Logan and Charles looked disappointed.

Hank was disappointed because he could not talk more with him about the creation of the pills and who knows what else.

Ororo's expression he could not fully read. Jean and Rogue were disappointed because there would not be another new member of the group.

Charles, on the other hand, gave him a soft smile.

Logan was just Logan.

"I understand. Even so, my doors will always be open, both figuratively and literally. And the other question is how do you have a mental shield?"
