Walking into the conference room, Rin carefully examined the people in the room, then frowned and pointed at the few ordinary people in black suits standing by the conference table and asked.
"Who are these guys? How can there be ordinary people here?"
A tall man, the leader among these ordinary people, walked up to Rin with a confident smile on his face, extended his left hand, and spoke.
"Hello, Lord Rin Tohsaka. I am a diplomat from the United States of America. This time, I am representing my country to express serious concern regarding the incident."
Then, the others also hurriedly followed the American diplomat.
"I am from the UK..."
"I am from France..."
"I am from Germany..."
"I am from Russia..."
Rin ignored the representatives from various countries in front of her, casually slapped away the left hand extended by the American diplomat, and came to the conference table to tap it.
"Who let these ordinary people in?"
"Lord Rin Tohsaka, as the most powerful countries in the world, we have the qualifications..."
"Shut up!"
Rin shouted, her magic power, which was like an abyss, instantly erupted. The few ordinary people instantly slumped to the ground, as if they had been targeted by an ancient beast.
At this moment, the envoy of the Church lifted the hood on their head, revealing a face that was exceptionally familiar to Rin.
Fujimura Taiga stuck out her tongue sheepishly.
"Rin, sorry! I was the one who brought these guys here."
Rin looked at Fujimura Taiga sitting nearby in surprise, her face filled with confusion. After the Holy Grail War ended back then, Rin had actually searched for Fujimura Taiga in Fuyuki City. However, after several fruitless attempts, Rin assumed she had died during the war. She never expected to see Fujimura Taiga again today, let alone as an envoy from the Church to the Clock Tower. One must realize that an envoy capable of attending a meeting of this level must be a high-ranking member of their faction.
"Taiga-sister? How did you end up mixing with the Church?"
"Well, I'm not really sure myself. After the Holy Grail War ended, I was taken back to the Vatican by people from the Church. Then I met an old man there who said I had great divinity and insisted on taking me as his disciple. After the old man passed away, I suddenly and inexplicably became a Cardinal."
Rin's lips twitched as she finished listening to Fujimura Taiga. She thought to herself, 'As expected of her incredible luck!'
Knowing that it was Fujimura Taiga who brought these ordinary people in, Rin no longer intended to make things difficult for them. She pulled out her chair and sat down.
Once the Lords were seated and the envoys from the major nations had recovered with Fujimura Taiga's help, the representative from the Wandering Sea was the first to raise a question.
"Lords Rin Tohsaka, I represent the Wandering Sea to question you: Did you summon the Old Ones in Chaldea five days ago?"
"I just accidentally produced a few small monsters, and I've already dealt with them. Is there a problem?"
"Please disclose the entire process. Your words alone are not convincing enough."
"I refuse. I have no obligation to disclose anything to you."
The envoy from Atlas spoke up at this point.
"Your Excellency, do you realize what you are saying?"
"Of course I do. Are you planning to threaten me by putting me on a wanted list, or are you planning to go to war with me directly?"
"I..."
Choked by Rin's words, the Atlas envoy was so angry he couldn't speak for a long while. Neither putting a Lord of the Clock Tower on a wanted list nor going to war with Rin was something to be said lightly. If Atlas truly made such a choice, it would be equivalent to a public declaration of war against the Clock Tower. After all, Rin was one of the Lords of the Clock Tower regardless of the circumstances.
The Wandering Sea envoy coughed a few times to draw everyone's attention, then spoke slowly.
"Then I shall state the demands of our Wandering Sea. We can choose not to pursue this incident, but Chaldea must be placed under the supervision of the Mages Association. The supervisory personnel must be composed of members from the Wandering Sea, Atlas, and the Clock Tower."
Following the Wandering Sea envoy's words, the entire meeting hall broke into a flurry of discussion. Even the diplomats from the major nations were starting to get restless, seemingly planning to tuck some of their own people into the supervisory staff.
Rin shrugged casually. She had known for a long time that this day would come sooner or later. After all, no faction could help but be curious about a brand-new institution that had spent hundreds of billions of dollars and countless rare materials over several years to build.
"Quiet, everyone. I must remind you that I am only the vice director of Chaldea. The Director is the Head of the Department of Astromancy, Marisbury. Therefore, you should take such requests to Marisbury."
"No need, I have arrived. On behalf of Chaldea, I reject this proposal."
Suddenly, a voice rang out from the entrance of the meeting room. Then, the Old Director pushed open the door and walked into the meeting room alone.
The envoy from the Wandering Sea stared at the Old Director with a grim expression, stood up angrily, and pointed at him.
"Do you have any idea what you are rejecting?"
Suddenly, a massive force came from the Wandering Sea envoy's shoulder, instantly pressing him back down into his chair.
Rin, with a cold sneer, had one hand on the Wandering Sea envoy's shoulder while the other emitted a dangerous magical glow.
"And do you have any idea what you are threatening?"
At this moment, the Atlas envoy nearby tugged on the Wandering Sea envoy's sleeve and shook his head at him.
The Wandering Sea envoy's face was as black as the bottom of a pot as he sat on his chair, silenced.
The Atlas envoy stood up and looked at Rin without fear.
"Lord Rin Tohsaka, it seems we cannot reach a consensus today. However, we, Atlas and the Wandering Sea, will certainly convene the Supreme Council of the Mages Association to request the stripping of your status as a Magus. I hope you can still laugh then."
"Cutting the ground from under my feet? Don't worry, I'll keep laughing very happily!"
Saying this, Rin flashed a brilliant smile, then walked out of the meeting room with the Old Director.
Left in the meeting room, Fujimura Taiga looked around at the various expressions of the people present. Then, remembering something, she grabbed the scepter from the table and rushed out of the room.
"Rin, wait for me!"
Exiting the main building of the Clock Tower, Rin and the Old Director strolled through the Clock Tower academy grounds.
"Rin, you seem full of confidence. Is it because that plan of yours is complete?"
"Yes, the first stage has been achieved. So, if those fools really intend to use force, they can look forward to facing attacks from Servants!"
"It seems you have completely surpassed me!"
After saying this, the Old Director looked at his right arm with a somewhat somber expression.
Just as the Old Director was about to say something more, Fujimura Taiga rushed out of the Clock Tower's main building with no regard for her image and caught up to Rin.
"Rin! Oh, I just remembered, how are Sakura, Caren, and Shirou? How is Master?"
Rin looked at the urgent Fujimura Taiga with a bit of a headache. Recalling the scene of their first meeting as children, she quietly cast a sound-blocking spell on herself and then ignored Fujimura Taiga, walking toward the campus exit.
"Ah! Rin, don't ignore me! Quickly tell me how they are! I can only stay in England for three days! I don't want to be caught by Meilian Solomon and the others and sent back to the Vatican to chant scriptures again. Tell me quickly!"
The Old Director watched the departing Rin with a smile and murmured.
"Rin..."
