Under the bright moonlight, in the garden of the Millennium Castle, an innocent blonde girl was dancing gracefully.
Sion, with her purple hair tied in a braided ponytail, closed the book in her hands and spoke to Olga Marie.
"Everything is within calculations! So, this place is a so-called Singularity, isn't it?"
Olga Marie nodded to Sion, looking at this friend who was slightly different from the one in her proper human history as she replied.
"Yes."
Sion glanced out of the corner of her eye at Arcueid, who was dancing and chasing small animals in the courtyard garden. She set down her book, rested a hand on her waist, and asked Olga Marie.
"Then what will happen to those of us from this Singularity once it disappears?"
"They should lose these memories, right? After all, once the fluctuations in history are smoothed out, all changes will return to the normal human history."
A trace of a dangerous look appeared in Sion's eyes as she continued to ask.
"Then is there a way to retain memories, or simply become a completely new individual?"
The naive Olga Marie didn't notice the dangerous look in Sion's eyes. Treating Sion as the friend she knew from proper human history, she answered.
"I don't know, but Elder Sister might have a way!"
Having received Olga Marie's reply, Sion silently withdrew her hand from her waist and curled her lip in annoyance at the naive Olga Marie before her.
"Rin Tohsaka? I don't know what she's like in the so-called proper human history, but the Rin Tohsaka of this world was wiped out along with the Clock Tower long ago."
Olga Marie let out a cry of surprise.
"How is that possible? Elder Sister is so strong, how could she be..."
At that moment, a brown-haired girl with twin tails ran up behind Sion and hugged her tightly, saying,
"Hey, hey, Sion, have you heard? Humanity's last bastion was attacked today! Apparently, Shiki was there too..."
Sion turned her head to look at Yumizuka Satsuki, with whom she had formed the 'Unpopular Duo - Back Alley Alliance,' and helplessly rubbed her forehead.
"Don't worry, Satsuki! Aoko is over there, and Zelretch and the others just went to provide support. Your sweetheart will be fine!"
Yumizuka Satsuki tilted her head innocently.
"Is that so? Shiki will be okay? That's great!"
While Yumizuka Satsuki was talking to herself, Sion's gaze turned fierce. She pushed away Yumizuka Satsuki, who was still clinging to her, and walked toward the exit of the Millennium Castle under Olga Marie's confused gaze.
"Sion?"
"It's nothing, just some little bugs trying to enter the castle..."
Olga Marie bit her lip as she watched Sion's departing back. Believing she couldn't let her 'friend' fight alone, she forced her exhausted body to chase after Sion.
"Sion, wait for me! I'll help too..."
Humanity's last bastion.
On the walls of the inner keep, Rin watched the people collecting bones in the cold January night wind and asked Zelretch beside her.
"This is the last group of humans from the outside world, right? Master, what do you plan to do?"
Zelretch stroked his beard.
"I plan to take them beneath the Millennium Castle to protect them. Since the Six Authorities have been revived, the strategy of dispersing our forces will no longer work!"
"Master, you didn't plan on fighting from the start, did you? It seems you intend to transfer the Millennium Castle to..."
Exposed by Rin, Zelretch cut her off with a flick of his cloak. He glanced at his so-called disciple, Rin, and nodded unnaturally.
"It's fine, I understand. After all, a Magus isn't omnipotent!"
Just then, several figures below the wall caught Rin's attention.
Gudako was curled up like a frightened quail. Surrounding her were several Magi and ordinary people, screaming at her in fury, while Mash and Fujimaru Ritsuka were shielding Gudako and trying to explain something to them.
"This isn't Gudako's fault! I asked Gudako to do it, blame me!"
The crowd, enraged because the remains of their relatives had been 'toyed with,' stopped their shouting at Gudako and turned to look at Fujimaru Ritsuka.
"Kid! Are you sure?"
"That's right! It was me!"
Mash stood protectively in front of Gudako, at a loss. Hearing Fujimaru Ritsuka's words, she looked at him with a pained expression.
"Senpai..."
"Since this girl was acting on your orders, then I'll settle this debt on your head!"
An obviously hot-tempered, muscular man roared in anger, rolled up his sleeves, and landed a heavy punch on Fujimaru Ritsuka's face, knocking him to the ground.
As the man prepared to follow up with another punch, he didn't notice the terrified looks of his companions. Suddenly, he felt the world spin, and he was slammed heavily onto the ground. Simultaneously, a foot wearing an elegant leather shoe stepped onto his chest. The weight and power pressing down on him were so immense that the man couldn't even appreciate the perfect leg above him.
Rin, having taken the man down with a shoulder throw, stood with her hands on her hips and her chest puffed out, her foot still on the man's chest as she spoke.
"Hey, hey, hey! What do you guys think you're doing?"
The crowd, having seen Rin beat the Black-Winged Duke half to death, lowered their heads in the face of her dominance, none of them daring to make a sound.
Rin then pointed at Gudako, Mash, and Fujimaru Ritsuka, addressing the group.
"Do you still not understand the situation? They just saved you! Is this how you repay your saviors? And how many humans are left alive now? 5,000? 10,000? With so few people left, you're still here causing trouble for your own kind. Truly pathetic!"
After speaking, Rin kicked the man she was stepping on back into the crowd and said to the panicked group,
"Alright, get lost! Looking at you is annoying!"
As if granted a royal pardon, the crowd helped the man up and scattered in all directions.
Rin then walked over to the quail-like Gudako and pulled her up from the ground.
"Gudako, are you okay?"
Seeing Rin, Gudako snapped out of it and threw herself into Rin's arms, weeping.
"Master, I..."
Rin patted Gudako's back sympathetically.
"Alright! It's over! Gudako, you don't need to mind those guys. They were just looking for an excuse to assert dominance over you newcomers. This kind of power-struggle nonsense continues even when they're on the brink of extinction. Tsk!"
At this point, Fujimaru Ritsuka, who had stood up with Mash's support, was stunned by Rin's words and asked her in disbelief,
"Director! Is that true?"
"Hmph! Those who truly cared about their relatives either died fighting alongside them on the battlefield just now, or they're currently collecting their relatives' bones. Why would they come looking for you the moment the battle ends? That group just now was either looking to establish authority or were just cowards trying to vent their frustrations on you!"
After speaking, Rin curled her lip at the silent, pondering Gudako and Fujimaru Ritsuka. Fearing they might start overthinking and get weird, Rin quickly added,
"Alright, that's enough of that! We have more important things to do now! If you're interested in this, you can ask Kiritsugu after we get back to Chaldea. He understands human nature better than anyone..."
