Chapter 275 - Chapter 275: Zombie Siege? The Red Room Has Taken Over S.H.I.E.L.D. Base!

Moon Knight glanced at the three of them and followed inside.

Finally, only the dunderhead trio remained.

Kamala held her cheeks, her eyes shining.

"Wow! What is this now? A spatial portal?"

Ironheart frowned, looking at the nano-armor beside her, then at the spatial wormhole:

"That's right, it's a spatial portal, and it's even made of the same isotope energy as the new reactor core left behind by Tony Stark!"

Kate looked surprised. "You mean Ryan still has the technological teleportation device left by Mr. Stark?"

Ironheart shook her head, her expression turning solemn.

"No, I think this is even more powerful. This is the origin of the Stark family's reactor core—the pure power of the Space Stone!"

Hearing this, Kamala and Kate both widened their eyes:

"But how is that possible? Wasn't the Space Stone destroyed in Wakanda along with the other five Infinity Stones during that great war?!"

Ironheart fell silent at this and shook her head, indicating she didn't know either.

"Hey, are you three coming or not? If not, I'm closing the door."

It wasn't until they heard Ryan's voice coming from the spatial wormhole that the three lost in thought snapped back to reality and hurriedly followed him in.

As the three stepped out of the spatial wormhole, they found that they had indeed arrived at their destination.

The S.H.I.E.L.D. Base in Ohio!

However...

"My God, was the signal really sent from here..."

As everyone looked over, they saw that the S.H.I.E.L.D. Base emitting the signal was currently surrounded by a massive number of zombies.

It looked exactly like a city under siege by zombies.

But soon, they noticed something was off.

Even though the zombies densely surrounded the S.H.I.E.L.D. Base, they didn't seem to have any intention of attacking it. They just stood quietly around the perimeter, sealing the entire Base off.

It was as if... these zombies weren't attacking the Base, but protecting it!

"Interesting..."

Ryan watched this scene, a smile of interest curling at the corners of his mouth.

This zombie World was certainly giving him quite a few surprises.

First, there was Ironheart, who could create a zombie virus inhibitor; then Kamala, with her bracelets that even he couldn't see through; and the Blade version of Moon Knight.

And now, there was a S.H.I.E.L.D. Base that could control zombies.

These were all surprises he had never seen in his own World!

It seems one really shouldn't underestimate any World.

Even in a zombie apocalypse World, there are super talents to be found.

Not bad. Now, let me, the Multiverse Bully Collector, see who this mystery box is and if they're worth collecting like Moon Knight!

"Let's go. We're going in."

Saying that, Ryan casually walked toward the S.H.I.E.L.D. Base below.

This startled the trio again, and they quickly caught up, asking:

"Captain, with so many zombies surrounding it, are we still going in?"

"And even if we want to go in, shouldn't we open another portal and sneak in?"

"Or Mr. Parker could fly us in. You can fly, so why walk?"

The three of them continued to chatter, still acting as the audience's commentary track.

In a normal World, Ryan might have found their constant chatter a bit unbearable.

But this was a zombie apocalypse World.

In such a hopeless World, the sound of normal humans had actually become a rarity.

This World was filled more with the roars of zombies and the occasional screams of humans.

Although Ryan was a dictator, he wasn't a solitary creature, so having some different sounds around him was actually better for his state of mind.

Otherwise, he worried he might 'accidentally' be unable to resist slaughtering this hopeless and dull World.

So... yes, that's right. Besides their skills and abilities, the trio's value lay more in acting as a neutralizing agent to keep Ryan calm in this apocalyptic World.

Thus, Ryan showed a bit more patience, saying calmly to the three:

"For a Base that already has a Master, whether you enter by portal or by flying, it's not polite behavior. It might even make people mistake you for an intruder, understand?"

Hearing this, the trio was both surprised and delighted.

"Wow, Captain, do you mean there really are living people in this Base? Could it be the remaining Avengers led by Nick Fury?"

Ryan led them to the front of the Base surrounded by zombies. Seeing that the zombies had no desire to attack them even when they were so close, his eyes flashed, and he smiled slightly:

"No, it's not that idiot Nick Fury, nor is it the Avengers, or even S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel. They come from another, more interesting organization!"

Just as Ryan finished speaking, a massive searchlight beamed onto the five of them, and then a voice came from the Base's loudspeaker:

"Strangers, state your business!"

At the sound of that voice, the zombies surrounding the Base, which had been motionless just moments ago, suddenly turned in unison to look at the five of them, as if they were being manually controlled.

Hearing this, the trio suddenly became indecisive and, just like the zombies, they all looked toward Ryan:

"Uh, Captain, what do we do? Should we tell the truth?"

Moon Knight, on the other hand, stood to the side without saying a word, as if it were none of his concern.

His mission was to escort the three to complete their task, but since they now had their own Captain, there was no need for him to say anything more.

He only needed to be responsible for acting when it was time to fight.

Ryan looked at the horde of zombies in front of him, which seemed ready to pounce at the slightest disagreement, and his gaze turned cold:

"Since they've already greeted us in a rather impolite manner, we naturally have to respond in kind."

With that, Symbiote surged from Ryan's hands, instantly forming two cold, sharp Blades.

Then, with a flick of his hands, the two Blades began to extend infinitely, piercing through the bodies of countless zombies in front of him until they nearly reached the Base itself.

Subsequently, Ryan swept the infinitely extended Blades left and right, slicing countless zombies in front of the Base in half in a fan-shaped arc!

"OK, the dogs blocking the way are dealt with. Now, let's keep walking."

Saying this, Ryan walked toward the Base once more under the dumbfounded gazes of the trio.

The three looked at each other, all reading the same thought in one another's eyes.

'The Captain's way of greeting is certainly unique and direct...'

Ryan's actions caught not only the trio by surprise but also the people inside the Base.

After the three walked through the horde of zombies that had been split in half by Ryan's Blades, the Base's gates had already been opened, and about a dozen figures were waiting at the entrance.

They glared at Ryan's group of five and shouted angrily:

"Bastard! What do you think you're doing? Do you have any idea you just wiped out a third of our Base guards in one go?!"

The three leaders were a bearded man in a suit with a red star, a blonde woman in a white combat suit, and a brown-haired woman holding a zombie controller.

Their names were Alexei Shostakov, the 'Red Guardian'; Yelena Belova, the 'White Widow'; and Melina Vostokoff, the 'Iron Lady'!

As for the other women in black combat suits, it went without saying—they were definitely the Black Widows of the Red Room!

The controllers of this S.H.I.E.L.D. Base were none other than the famous Red Room!
