Ryan knew that the Wanda of this Universe had turned into a zombie.
After all, in the what if...?? series, there was a scene where Vision lured human survivors over to feed to Wanda.
Vision even sawed off one of Black Panther's legs, turning him into a hopping panther.
In the later plot of what if...??, he remembered that Zombie Wanda had even fought against the six infinity stones Ultron...
The result was obvious: Zombie Wanda definitely couldn't beat the six infinity stones Ultron, who was already capable of breaking through the barriers of the Multiverse.
But looking at it now, the six infinity stones Ultron didn't end up killing Zombie Wanda after all.
Furthermore, the current Zombie Wanda seemed to have grown even stronger than she was in the what if...?? storyline!
Her strength probably already exceeded that of the two normal Wandas in his Universe, and it was even possible that she was on par with the corrupted Wanda who obtained the Darkhold in the sacred timeline!
"Things are starting to get interesting..."
Ryan's eyes flashed, and he became interested in this Zombie Wanda.
Because this Zombie Wanda was likely the most badass zombie in this zombie apocalypse!
As long as he defeated her, or better yet, controlled her, he could probably call the shots for all the zombies in this apocalypse!
After all, Zombie Wanda could control all the zombies, so if he controlled Zombie Wanda, wouldn't that mean he could control all the zombies?
If that was really the case, then perhaps there was no need for him to wipe out this zombie World!
Instead, it could serve as another one of his hidden forces!
Just think, in the future, if he didn't like a certain parallel World, he could just have Zombie Wanda lead billions of zombies to attack it. Wouldn't that be incredibly satisfying?!
However...
Ryan looked out at the endless army of red-eyed zombies and felt a bit disappointed.
Because Zombie Wanda, the mastermind behind this, didn't seem to have come this time; she had only sent the puppet zombies she controlled.
Or perhaps she was hiding in the shadows, watching.
With the conceptual power of Chaos Magic, Wanda might not be his opponent in terms of pure raw power, but if she wanted to hide, it would be really difficult for him to find her...
Ryan rubbed his chin, thinking about how to lure Zombie Wanda out...
Huh? Wait, he seemed to have overlooked a problem!
That was, why did Zombie Wanda keep sending Zombie Hawkeye to follow him?

"Boss, I have finished decoding the signal transmitter you brought!"
Just as Ryan was letting his imagination run wild, Iron Lady's voice came from behind him.
Ryan snapped out of it, turned around, and saw Iron Lady holding the signal transmitter that Ironheart and the others had previously retrieved from the S.H.I.E.L.D. Quinjet.
Ryan first glanced at the army of red-eyed zombies outside the Base that were just quietly surrounding the place with no further movement for the time being, then said with interest:
"Tell me, what is the specific function of this thing?"
Iron Lady tapped the tablet in her hand and explained: "This device is indeed a super signal transmitter capable of emitting encrypted sub-space frequencies, and the destination of the signal is outside Earth!"
"Outside Earth? That means in the Universe..." Ryan said thoughtfully, "Did S.H.I.E.L.D. specify which empire in the Universe it is being sent to?"
Iron Lady looked at the tablet and nodded: "Yes, the signal transmission destination marked by S.H.I.E.L.D. is a cosmic authority force called the Nova Corps!"
"It also notes that the Nova Corps comes from the Shi'ar Empire, one of the most technologically advanced cosmic empires in the Universe, so S.H.I.E.L.D. believes that the Nova Corps from the Shi'ar Empire possesses super technology sufficient to repair our zombie apocalypse World!"
Hearing this, the corners of Ryan's mouth gradually curled into a smile, but it wasn't a happy smile; it was a mocking one:
"Heh, after all that, I thought those idiots at S.H.I.E.L.D. had come up with some good way to solve the apocalypse, but it turns out they were just planning to lean on an alien race again. It really is their same old stupid tactic!"
"Huh? Seeking help from a more technologically advanced civilization, is there a problem with that?" Everyone else was a bit confused when they heard Ryan's words.
Ryan looked at the others and said disdainfully, "What's the problem? You don't think this method of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s is smart, do you?"
"Don't make your Uncle Parker laugh. What makes you think that after the Nova Corps learns that Earth has a highly contagious virus, they will send people to help humanity solve this virus?"
"Let me ask you, if one of the most powerful countries on Earth, America, learned that a small country on Earth had an outbreak of a super virus capable of infecting all of humanity, what do you think America would do?"
"Would it selflessly send its own scientists into that small country to research an antidote, or would it first completely isolate that small country, or even worse, just use a nuclear bomb to blow up that small country, making the super virus and that small country disappear together?"
Hearing Ryan's words, everyone was stunned.
They hadn't really thought about this issue in detail just now, but now, from Ryan's words, they put themselves in the shoes of a powerful nation to look at the problem.
They realized that if they didn't want the zombie virus on Earth to spread to the entire Universe, the best solution wasn't really to try to find a way to cure Earth, but to directly isolate or destroy Earth!
This was the best and most effective solution for other civilizations in the Universe!

Hearing Yelena's words, the others also breathed a sigh of relief, and their gazes toward the signal transmitter, which they had previously regarded as a savior, turned into looks of disgust, as if they were looking at excrement.

Moreover, the reason Dr. Pym risked entering the Quantum Realm to save his wife was because his wife had accidentally entered the Quantum Realm and couldn't get out while shrinking to the limit to dismantle a missile during a S.H.I.E.L.D. mission!
So this zombie incident in this Universe really had everything to do with S.H.I.E.L.D.!
