In the end, Ryan could only attribute it to Thanos being infected by the zombie virus, making his brain stop working properly.
And based on Thanos's performance in the footage, that was indeed the case...
After becoming a zombie, although Thanos retained his conscious self-awareness, his use of the Infinity Stones seemed to have become clumsy.

The protagonist of this story was clearly not Thor, so his coolness lasted less than three seconds. He had just thrown his axe at Zombie Thanos, wanting to replicate the scene from Avengers 3, but because Thanos was already zombified, the axe hitting his body didn't do a damn thing!
In contrast, Zombie Thanos raised his Infinity Gauntlet and, with a zero-frame startup, gave Thor an Infinity Stone energy beam combo!
The energy beam, containing the power of five Infinity Stones, instantly engulfed the newly arrived trio, annihilating the mortal-bodied Rocket until only a skeleton remained!
Even the second-generation Groot, who hadn't grown very large and was still an adolescent, was burned to ash like firewood under this one Infinity energy beam!
Only Thor, who had just ascended to the rank of God King, managed to tank the attack of the Infinity energy beam without being instantly turned into a skeleton or ash!
However, with half his face burned to charcoal, Thor had clearly lost his fighting capacity. He fainted on the ground, exiting the stage at light speed.
Seeing that Zombie Thanos had recovered the method to use the Infinity Stones' power and could even easily kill Thor, the Spider-Man trio, who had been fighting him from the start, knew they couldn't delay any longer.
Just as Spider-Man and the canned Ant-Man were at a loss for what to do, the hopping Black Panther seemed to make a certain resolution.
He deliberately asked Spider-Man for the Mind Stone, the only one Thanos hadn't obtained.
Then, while Spider-Man was tossing the Mind Stone to Black Panther, it was—unsurprisingly—snatched away via the Space Stone by Zombie Thanos, who had already mastered part of the Infinity Stones' power.
But Black Panther didn't look surprised at all. Instead, with a death-defying resolve, he charged like a true panther toward Thanos, who had now gathered all six infinity stones after obtaining the Mind Stone!
Thanos, possessing self-awareness, naturally wouldn't just stand there waiting for Black Panther to charge, so he... punched the ground.
The six infinity stones erupted with massive power, shattering the ground of all Wakanda, even revealing the unsolidified liquid Vibranium deep underground!
Black Panther was clearly smarter than that blockhead Thor. Although he had one less leg than Thor, he nimbly dodged the shockwave of Thanos's ground-shattering punch and finally succeeded in closing in on Thanos.
Next, the most melodramatic scene that made Ryan feel speechless appeared.
The Zombie Thanos who had just easily defeated stormbreaker Thor and possessed six infinity stones was actually knocked back by a one-legged Black Panther!
Black Panther carried Zombie Thanos with him as they fell into the rift Thanos himself had smashed open, plunging into that unsolidified liquid Vibranium!
Seeing this, Ryan was truly shocked!
