Because as her consciousness moved deeper into Ryan's memories, the "negative" memories he had kept buried arrived.
First, the colors of those originally vibrant and happy memory frames changed, turning into scarlet, cold tones, and deep darkness!
This was the deep-seated darkness hidden beneath Ryan's sunny exterior!
In these deep memories, the scarlet blood of enemies splattered across the entire process!
Humans, aliens, and even legendary gods had once had their blood spilled on Ryan...
And Ryan himself was far from being as righteous as he appeared!
He had personally brought despair to others more than once, and to more than one person!
He could smile and lend a hand to those in desperate situations without his heart skipping a beat, giving them hope, while they remained unaware that he was also the one who brought the despair...
He would plot against someone from beginning to end, making them help him count the money after being sold out!
On the surface, he was the World's number one Superhero, having saved Earth countless times and receiving the love of millions!
But in the shadows, he was a Monarch whom even the kings of the Underworld had to obey, and he had even directed and acted out the cruel destruction of several nations on Earth!
He was the one who brought people hope, and he was the one who brought them despair!
He was the Light of Earth, and he was also Earth's greatest darkness!
Despair and hope, light and darkness, all came from the same person. This made Wanda, whose mind had been twisted by the zombie virus, unable to help but shudder!
A World where everyone was played like a toy in one man's hands—what kind of despair-filled World was that?!
No, it wasn't just one World. According to Ryan's memories, Wanda had already seen the Earths of two Universes being played in the palm of his hand!
Even the versions of herself from other Universes—two of them had already willingly become his subordinates!
Wanda's feelings were complex, and she secretly felt lucky. Fortunately, she was smarter than the other two versions of herself; she had counter-plotted against this terrifying guy before he could plot against her!
Thank goodness, she was one step ahead!
However, after finishing Ryan's negative memories, Wanda still felt like something was wrong...
Could a guy with such a complex mind and a talent for plotting really be found out so easily?
Or was the temptation of the Infinite Power truly so great that it clouded his shrewd mind?
Although she had this doubt in her heart, she had already turned against Ryan by now, and there was no turning back.
So even though she sensed something was off, Wanda could only grit her teeth and dive headfirst into the deepest part of Ryan's consciousness that lay open to her, to complete the final step!
What Wanda didn't see, however, was that as her consciousness plunged into the depths, all of Ryan's memories playing behind her suddenly froze!
It was as if this were a private movie screening specifically for her; now that she had left, the movie stopped...
And even more eerily, the people in these memory frames all turned in unison to look toward the spot where Wanda had entered the deepest part of his consciousness, revealing a strange smile, as if saying...
Hehe, got you!

After passing through a layer of white light, Wanda finally arrived at the deepest part of Ryan's consciousness.
But unlike what Wanda had imagined—that the deepest part of Ryan's consciousness would be filled with things or memories he feared—this World was nothing but a void of pure white.
Oh no, that wasn't quite right either. There was still one thing: Ryan himself was standing in this pure white space...
It was as if Ryan had been waiting for Wanda here all along...
Wanda had never been afraid of a clash between conscious entities; after all, she could easily crush even the consciousness of so-called gods!
So, she landed without hesitation in front of Ryan, who was standing still and watching her.
Wanda elegantly looked around, and after confirming she couldn't find anything, she looked at Ryan and asked curiously:
"So, what exactly is your ultimate fear? I've never seen someone whose inner depths are a total blank like yours. Regrets, enemies you couldn't defeat, or someone you loved but couldn't have—you must have something, right?"
