Just after sunset, the lights suddenly went out.
"Power cut again?" she sighed.
But the darkness felt strangeā¦ heavier than usual. As if someone was watching her.
She turned on her phone flashlight and walked slowly toward her room.
Then she heard itā

The sound was coming from inside her room.
"Who's there?" she asked nervously.
No answer.
She opened the door slowlyā¦ and froze.
In the corner of her room stood a door that had never been there before.
Old. Wooden. Covered in strange symbols.
It felt like it was calling her.
Tithi stepped closer, heart pounding, and touched the handle.

Tithi hesitatedā¦ but curiosity pulled her in.
She stepped inside.
The moment she crossed the doorway, everything changed.
She was no longer in her room.
Instead, she stood in a long, dim corridor filled with flickering lights and whispering echoes.
"Where am Iā¦?" she whispered.
The door behind her slammed shut.
She tried to open itābut it had disappeared.
Panic rose inside her.
Suddenly, a soft voice echoedā
"Find the truthā¦ before time runs outā¦"
Tithi turned around, but no one was there.
Ahead of her, three paths appeared.
Each one darker than the other.
She had to choose.

Tithi chose the middle path.
As she walked, the walls began to changeāshowing flashes of memories.
Her childhood.
Her school days.
Moments she had forgotten.
Then suddenly, she saw something strangeā
A memory that wasn't hers.
A girlā¦ who looked exactly like herā¦ standing near the same mysterious door.
"Who is she?" Tithi whispered.
The voice returnedā
"She is the one who failedā¦"
A chill ran down her spine.
Failed? At what?
Then she understood.

At the end of the corridor, Tithi found a large room.
In the center stood two doors.
One glowing with soft light.
The other completely dark.
The voice spoke againā
"Choose wisely. One leads you back. The otherā¦ traps you forever."
Tithi's heart raced.
"What is this test?" she asked.
Silence.
She looked at both doors carefully.
The glowing one felt safe.
The dark one feltā¦ real.
She took a deep breath.
"If this is a testā¦ then the easy choice is probably wrong."
Slowly, she walked toward the dark door.
And opened it.

The moment she stepped throughā
Everything vanished.
Tithi found herself back in her room.
The mysterious door was gone.
The lights were back.
Everything looked normal.
"Was itā¦ a dream?" she whispered.
But then she noticed something.
On her handā¦ the same strange symbol from the door was glowing faintly.
And suddenlyā
Knockā¦ knockā¦ knockā¦
The sound came again.
This timeā
From behind her.
Tithi slowly turned aroundā¦
