Chapter 1 - Born from the Shadows

In the world of One Piece, where pirates chase freedom across the seas, and where the name Monkey D. Luffy has begun to shake the balance of the world, the waves of the ocean echoed like a quiet melody.

Yet, there was something no one could see. Something moving within the shadows. No one knew of its existence, and no one understood its purpose—except him.

In a place that did not exist on any map, a vast hall was engulfed in darkness. Towering pillars disappeared into the ceiling, and the air was as cold as death itself. The faint sound of breathing echoed through the silence.

At the very top of the hall, a tall, imposing figure sat upon a black throne. His features were hidden, barely visible, and only his glowing eyes pierced through the darkness. Before him lay a massive map of the world, filled with marks, routes, and lines.

He slowly moved his fingers across it, and the map shifted.

A single ship appeared.

The Straw Hat.

Silence filled the hall before he finally spoke.

"The era is reaching its peak."

His voice was calm, yet carried absolute authority.

"And Straw Hat is getting closer than he should."

His gaze fixed on that single point, his voice turning colder.

"But the freedom he seeks will end by my hand."

He rose from his throne. Each step was light, yet it felt as if the entire hall trembled under his presence.

On the other side of the hall stood a massive glass chamber. Inside it was a body—still, cold, lifeless. A body that had never known life, as if it had just been created.

The man approached and placed his hand on the glass.

"It is time."

Silence lingered for a moment.

"Awaken."

The eyes snapped open.

A sharp breath burst from his chest, as if air had been forced back into him. The glass shattered as his body trembled violently before collapsing onto the ground.

He was breathing.

Alive.

"W-Where… am I…?"

His voice was weak and broken.

He slowly raised his head. The world around him felt strange, cold, and empty. He had no name, no past, no memories—only emptiness.

He lifted his gaze and saw him.

Fear filled his eyes.

"Who… are you…?"

Silence lingered for a moment before the answer came.

"I am the one who gave you life."

His eyes widened.

The man stepped closer and leaned down slightly.

"And from this moment on… you belong to me."

Suddenly, a voice echoed inside his mind—cold and emotionless.

"System activated… Revival: Active. Possession: Active."

He clutched his head in pain.

"W-What… is this?!"

The man spoke calmly.

"Your body will not die easily. Even if you fall, you will rise again."

His breathing grew heavier.

"You are no longer just human… You can become anyone."

His eyes trembled.

"A-Anyone…?"

"Their faces, their voices, their lives… all of it can be yours."

He staggered back, his heart pounding violently.

"This… isn't normal…"

But the voice returned.

"Mission: Infiltrate the Straw Hat crew."

His eyes widened in shock.

"Straw Hat…? Where do I go…?"

The man answered,

"You will go to the sea. You will live among them. You will earn their trust."

A brief pause.

"When the time comes… you will kill Monkey D. Luffy."

Silence fell once more. Everything went still.

"I… don't understand…"

His voice trembled.

"But why do I feel… that I don't want to do this…?"

The man did not answer. He only smiled—a faint, cold smile.

Outside, the sea was calm and the wind was gentle.

But somewhere… a storm was being born.

Deep within his mind, a voice echoed once more:

"You cannot escape my voice."
