Riya stood in front of the company building again.
But today felt different.

She was an employee.
"Calm down, Riya… you can do this," she whispered to herself.
Taking a deep breath, she walked inside.
As soon as she entered, she could feel eyes on her.
People were whispering.
"Isn't she the one who argued with sir?"
"How did she even get hired?"
"Something is definitely wrong…"
Riya tried to ignore them.
"This is my job now. I won't let anyone scare me."
"Miss Riya?"
She turned.
A well-dressed man stood there.
"I'm Vikram, Mr. Arjun's manager. Follow me."
Riya nodded and followed him.
Inside the office…
Everything looked even more intimidating today.
"Your desk is here," Vikram pointed.
"And one more thing…"
He paused.
"Sir is not easy to work with."
Riya gave a small smile.
"I already noticed."
Suddenly—
The cabin door opened.
Arjun Mehra walked out.
The entire office went silent.
His presence alone was enough to freeze everyone.
His eyes directly landed on Riya.
"You're on time."
Riya straightened.
"Yes, sir."
"Good."
He walked closer.
"Let's see how long that lasts."
Without wasting a second—
He dropped a thick file on her desk.
"Finish this."
Riya looked at it, shocked.
"This… all of it?"
"Problem?" his tone was sharp.
Riya shook her head quickly.
"No, sir."
"Deadline: today."
Her eyes widened.
"Today?!"
Arjun leaned slightly closer.
"This is not a college assignment, Miss Riya."
"This is my company."
Riya clenched her fists.
"Okay… I'll do it."
Arjun's lips curved slightly.
"Let's see."
Hours passed…
Riya didn't even take a break.
Her eyes were tired, fingers aching…
But she didn't stop.
"I won't give up."

The office was almost empty.
Riya finally walked into Arjun's cabin.
"I'm done."
Arjun looked up.
A hint of surprise flashed in his eyes.
"So soon?"
He took the file and checked.

Everything was perfect.
No mistakes.
No shortcuts.
He slowly closed the file.
"Not bad."
Riya felt a small relief.

"Now do it again."
Riya froze.
"What…?"
"I want a better version."
Her frustration finally came out.
"I've been working all day!"
"And?" Arjun replied coldly.
"You think this is enough?"

Riya looked straight into his eyes.
"This is unfair."
Arjun stepped closer.
"Welcome to reality."
For a moment, they both stood there…

A silent challenge.

"Fine."
She picked up the file again.
"I'll do it."

Arjun watched her.
A faint smile appeared again.
"She didn't break…"
