Damian woke up with Raven's leg thrown over his thigh with the black silk sheets stuck to their skin. Sunlight was just starting to creep through the huge windows of Obsidian Haven. He checked the time on his phone and it was 5:43 a.m.
He knows he should have left hours ago but Raven stirred beside him. Her raven-black hair with deep violet streaks spilled across the pillow and she blinked slowly, then smiled when she saw him still there.
"Morning," she said, in a soft and sleepy voice.
"Morning." He replied and brushed a strand of hair from her face. "I really need to go."
She stretched against him, with her small waist pressing closer. "Not yet."
Her hand slid down his chest, over his stomach, and wrapped around his cock. He was already half-hard and she stroked him once, slow.
"Raven…" he warned, but his hips moved anyway.
She kissed his jaw. "One more time. Then you can leave."
He rolled on top of her before she could say anything else. They didn't even make it out of the bed yet and he pushed inside her in one smooth thrust. She was still wet from last night and she moaned low in her throat, and it was that same raw sound that drove him crazy.
"Uhrhhh… yes," she breathed against his neck.
He moved slow and deep with no rush this time. They were just skin on skin, her small waist in his hands, and her legs wrapped tight around him. Every thrust made her breath hitch and she dug her nails into his back and held on.
"Tell me you'll come back tonight," she whispered, meeting his gaze.
"I'll come back." He said and kissed her hard. "I promise."
They came together this time, quiet and close. Her body shook under him and he buried his face in her neck so he wouldn't make too much noise.
After, they lay there for a minute, breathing together. Raven traced a finger over his chest. "You look guilty already."
"I am guilty." He sat up and ran a hand through his hair. "Serena texted me six times last night, Victor called twice and I'm supposed to be on set right now."
She sat up too, and the sheets pooled around her waist. "So what are you going to tell them?"
"That I fell asleep in my trailer." He gave a tired smile. "They won't believe it, but they can't prove anything yet."
Raven leaned forward and kissed his shoulder. "Then don't go yet. Stay five more minutes."
He laughed softly. "You're dangerous."
"I know." she said.
They ended up in the shower together and steam filled the huge black marble bathroom. Hot water poured over them and Raven stood under the spray, eyes closed, while Damian soaped her back. His hands moved slowly over her small waist, down her hips, then back up.
"You're going to be late," she said, but she pressed back against him anyway.
"I know." He kissed the side of her neck. "It's worth it."
He turned her around, lifted her up, and pressed her against the cool tile wall. She wrapped her legs around him and he slid inside her again, easy this time. The water made everything slick.
"Uhrhhh… Damian," she moaned as he started moving.
He held her tight, thrusting up into her while the water beat down on them. Her breasts pressed against his chest and her nails scratched his shoulders and every sound she made echoed off the tiles.
"Don't stop," she begged. "Please don't stop."
He didn't and he fucked her steady and deep until she came again, shaking in his arms. He followed right after, groaning her name against her wet skin.
They stayed like that for a long minute, with water still running, and breathing hard. Finally he set her down gently and they washed each other in silence. No rush but just hands and soap and quiet touches.
When they stepped out, Raven handed him a fresh towel. "You really have to go now, don't you?"
"Yeah." He dried off quickly. "Victor is going to lose his mind if I don't show up soon."
She watched him pull on his clothes. "Will I see you tonight?"
He paused with his shirt half-buttoned. "I'll try. I'll text you when I know the schedule."
Raven nodded and she looked small standing there in her black robe. "Just one more night, right? That's what you said."
He walked over and cupped her face with both hands. "One more night. Then we figure out the next one. And the one after that."
She smiled, but it didn't reach her eyes. "You keep saying that."
"Because I mean it." He kissed her forehead. "I'm not ready to stop this. Not even close."
Then a loud knock sounded on the front door.
Raven froze. "That's Lena."
"Shit." Damian grabbed his jacket. "Service elevator?"
"Back hallway. Go now." Raven said.
Another knock came again and it was louder this time.
"Raven! Open up! I know you're in there," Lena called through the door. "We have a photoshoot at nine and you still smell like last night."
Raven pushed Damian toward the side door. "Go. Text me when you're safe."
He kissed her once, quick and hard before leaving finally. "I will."
He slipped out the back just as Lena knocked again. He took the service elevator down, with his heart racing the whole way. The doors opened to the underground garage and he kept his head down and walked fast toward the side exit.
His phone buzzed in his hand and he glanced at the screen. A new tabloid alert popped up.
'Heartthrob Spotted Near Raven's Building?'
The headline stared back at him and there was even a blurry photo of a man in a black jacket leaving the service entrance at 5:50 a.m.
As the elevator doors closed behind him, Damian saw the tabloid headline flash on his phone: 'Heartthrob Spotted Near Raven's Building?' His carefully built life had just cracked.
