Chapter 69: Oh? You Dress Pretty Maturely.

...

Even though Mujina looked like a mature and beautiful woman, Kihara felt zero sympathy.

He grabbed her slender, fragile neck and slammed her into a concrete wall like a piece of trash.

"Talk. Where are the other two from Kaiju Supremacy hiding?"

"Y-You… you know about us?"

Mujina recognized him.

But what shocked her even more wasn't that he found them—it was that he knew the name "Kaiju Supremacy."

Since their revival, they had never revealed that name to anyone—human or monster.

Kihara had no patience for conversation.

His left fist shot forward.

BOOM.

"Guh—!"

Her body convulsed violently. Her eyes bulged as if they were about to pop out of their sockets. She didn't even need to look to know—her abdomen had already turned into a massive bruise.

"You'd better start talking before my patience runs out," he said coldly.

"Otherwise, you won't get off as easily as your friend lying over there."

"Heh… heh… what, are you going to do something to me?"

Kihara didn't answer.

He just kept punching.

Again.

And again.

And again.

Dull, drum-like impacts echoed through the air. Mujina's face drained of all color, sweat pouring down her forehead. Her lips split from biting too hard, blood trickling down.

Her insides felt like they had been completely crushed.

Kihara canceled his transformation.

Those emotionless black eyes stared straight into her.

"I'm not interested in a woman like you," he said flatly.

"Now talk. Or I'll show you what true suffering looks like."

The killing intent in his voice felt like it seeped directly into her lungs, making it hard to breathe.

And then—

She remembered.

The crow monster.

How he had dismantled it over and over again… only to heal it and repeat the process.

Fear exploded inside her.

"I… I'll talk…"

"That's better."

A faint smile curved Kihara's lips.

Under overwhelming fear, Mujina spilled everything.

Their connection to the Monster Association.

Their secret operations gathering "Kaiju cores."

The assassination attempt on Kihara ordered from above.

And Unexpectedly.

Information about Minami Yume's sister.

From her explanation, Kaiju cores were something only their group could perceive.

They were born from human negative emotions.

However, for some unknown reason, in this world, those emotions didn't naturally leak out from humans—making the search incredibly difficult.

Only Chen, who was highly sensitive to these cores, could locate them.

Kihara questioned her repeatedly, changing the order, testing for inconsistencies.

Satisfied—

He drove his sword straight through her heart.

"Touch my girlfriend…" he muttered coldly,

"…and even if it's the King of Monster himself, I'll kill him."

With two members dead, the remaining ones would definitely come looking.

Kihara glanced at Chen's headless corpse on the ground.

And got an idea.

A cruel one.

He dismembered the body, cutting it into pieces.

Then arranged them on the ground into a single word:

"DEAD."

As for Mujina—

Since she had provided useful information, he showed her a small amount of "mercy."

He poured gasoline over her corpse and burned it to ashes.

"Social niceties are such a pain," he muttered.

"Kill one person, and you have to deal with everyone connected to them."

He paused.

"Good thing you only had teammates."

After dealing with both enemies, Kihara felt refreshed.

Humming lightly, he walked toward Z-City.

He planned to buy some desserts…and celebrate with Yume.

"Hey, you!"

A haughty, childish voice came from above.

No need to guess—

It was Tatsumaki.

As Kihara turned around, he secretly activated his acceleration device.

Then—

He pulled out his phone and dashed beneath her, snapping photos rapidly.

"Oh? You may look young, but for a 28-year-old 'Loli'… you dress pretty maturely. Nice black lace design."

Click. Click. Click.

Dozens of high-quality "souvenirs" captured instantly.

He canceled the acceleration and returned to his original position, ready to act clueless.

But then—

He noticed something was wrong.

Tatsumaki's face turned a deep shade of red, one hand clutching her skirt.

…This is bad.

Before he could react—

BOOM!

An invisible force slammed him into the ground.

If she hadn't held back.

He would've been turned into paste.

"You—you absolute bastard!" she shouted.

"Pervert! Freak!"

Her insults were… somewhat limited in vocabulary.

Still, the killing intent was very real.

She floated down, approaching him step by step.

The only reason she didn't kill him—

Was because he was the only person around.

And the black-armored knight she had been searching for had disappeared in this area.

"Have you seen a man in black armor?" she demanded.

"A knight with a pointed helmet?"

"I think you mean… two little antennae."

Her eyes lit up instantly.

That detail confirmed it.

He had seen him.

She immediately released the pressure pinning him down.

"Where did you see him?" she demanded urgently.

"Tell me, and I might spare your life."

His phone suddenly flew out of his pocket.

And was crushed midair into scrap.

"Otherwise…"

Kihara narrowed his eyes slightly.

"…Why do you want to find him?"

"That's none of your business. Just talk!"

He paused.

Then asked calmly:

"If I tell you… will you tell me why?"

Tatsumaki snorted.

"Let me make one thing clear—if you say the next second that you are that knight…"

Her smile turned dangerous.

"I'll crush you into paste."

"…Why!?"

"You think you're the first fake I've seen since the bounty went up?"

She clearly remembered all the impostors she had already sent flying.

Kihara raised an eyebrow.

"You're that confident you can recognize him?"

"I've carved his back into my soul," she said without hesitation.

That line Caught him off guard.

What kind of heavy emotional statement is that?

He decided not to reveal himself—for now.

Better to observe her intentions first.

"Fine," he said casually.

"That black knight seemed to be searching for something. I only saw him riding his motorcycle out of the abandoned zone."

"…He left?"

She studied him carefully.

No irregular heartbeat. No hesitation.

No sign of lying.

Her brows furrowed.

She had just missed him.

"…I'll let you go this time."

She floated upward, glaring down at him.

"But if you ever try using that weird speed to take pictures of me again…"

"You're dead."

With that—

Tatsumaki shot into the sky and disappeared beyond the city.
