A time hearing girl

In a quiet town where nothing ever seemed to change, lived a girl named Tinni. She wasn't famous, she wasn't powerful but she had a secret she never told anyone. That Tinni can hear the time.

Not clocks ticking. Not alarms ringing. She heard something deeper like whispers floating in the air. Every moment had a sound. Happy moments like soft bells. Sad ones dragged like slow, heavy footsteps. And sometimes , sometimes time screamed.

The first time it happened when she was 7. Sitting alone near the window, she suddenly heard laughter echoing in her room—but no one was there. Then just as suddenly, it faded into silence. Hours later her cousin arrived laughing in the exact same way.

That's when Tinni realized that she wasn't hearing the present. She was hearing moments before they happened.

After 10yrs....

She learned to live with it. When time whispered gently, she smiled. When it sounded dull, she prepared herself. But she never told anyone. Who would believe her?

One evening everything changed.

The air went still. No birds. No wind. No distant chatter. And then , then...

A sound she had never heard before.

Time… was crying.

Not a soft sadness. It was sharp ,broken. Like something was about to shatter.

Tinni froze. Her heart raced. What is going to happen? she whispered.

The sound grew louder, pulling her toward the old railway bridge at the edge of town. She had never gone there alone but something inside her said she had to.

When she reached the bridge, she saw a girl standing on the edge, staring down at the dark river below.

The crying sound became unbearable.

Stop! Tinni shouted without thinking.

The girl turned, startled. Her eyes were empty like he had already given up.

"Why?"she asked quietly.

Tinni didn't know her. She didn't know her story. But she knew one thing time had never cried like this before.

"Because… this moment matters," she said, her voice shaking. "Even if it doesn't feel like it now."

There was silence.

Then slowly, the sound began to change. The sharp pain softened turning into something fragile like hope trying to breathe again.

The girl stepped back.

Time stopped crying.

Days later, Tinni passed the same bridge. This time, she heard something new.

Laughter. Soft. Real. Alive. She smiled to herself. For the first time Tinni understood her gift wasn't just about hearing time

It was about changing it.
