Chapter 3 - “The Chosen by Destiny”

The next morning, Rudra slowly opened his eyes.

For a moment, he remained still, his gaze drifting across the damp walls of the cave. The faint echo of dripping water lingered in the air, forming a hollow, rhythmic sound that filled the silence.

He let out a quiet breath.

Reaching for his camera, Rudra resumed his live stream.

Within seconds, viewers began pouring in. The chat flooded rapidly—

"How was your first night?"

"Did you feel anything strange?"

"Was it scary?"

Rudra adjusted the camera slightly and sighed.

"The night wasn't great," he said calmly. "Mosquitoes didn't let me sleep properly… and the constant dripping sound was really annoying."

He paused, then gave a faint, tired smile.

"But still… I managed to get some rest."

Stretching his stiff body, he stood up and picked up his gear.

"That's enough. Let's continue the exploration."

The chat burst with excitement.

Stepping out of the cave, Rudra began walking toward the mountain once again. At first, everything seemed normal.

But gradually… the atmosphere began to change.

The wind grew stronger—cold and sharp—cutting through the air with increasing force. His clothes fluttered violently as dust swirled around him.

Still, he didn't stop.

He continued forward, scanning the terrain, searching for another place to take shelter before nightfall.

The chat suddenly shifted—

"Rudra, don't risk your life!"

"Go back!"

"This is dangerous!"

Rudra glanced briefly at the screen.

"It's fine," he said with quiet confidence. "I've survived worse situations than this."

He took another step forward.

"We're not turning back until we complete this challenge."

The harsh wind pressed against him. With each step, his stamina slowly drained, his breathing growing heavier.

The viewers noticed immediately—

"Are you okay?"

"Rudra, stop!"

But then—

Rudra suddenly stopped.

His eyes locked onto something ahead.

"…There," he whispered.

He turned the camera forward.

A cave.

Another cave, partially hidden between rocks, just a few meters ahead.

Relief spread across his face.

"Finally…" he exhaled deeply. "I found another cave. I'll take shelter there today."

The chat relaxed, though curiosity lingered.

After all… the previous cave had already revealed something unusual.

What could this one hold?

"Let's move," Rudra said.

But as he stepped forward—

He felt something.

A faint sensation.

As if… something was guiding him.

Calling him deeper into the mountain.

His brows furrowed.

The wind… had suddenly slowed.

And yet… he didn't remember seeing this cave before.

Was it always here?

He shook his head lightly.

"Maybe I just missed it earlier…" he muttered.

Still… the unease remained.

After a few minutes, he reached the cave entrance.

"We made it," he said, pointing the camera toward the dark opening. "Let's explore and see what we find."

He stepped inside.

Darkness swallowed him instantly.

The chat reacted at once—

"It's too dark!"

"We can't see anything!"

"Alright," Rudra said, turning on the camera light.

A faint glow illuminated the cave.

And what he saw… made him pause.

"This cave is huge…" he murmured, his voice echoing softly. "It feels like people used to live here… long ago."

He moved deeper, step by step.

Scattered across the ground were old plates, rusted utensils, and ancient cooking tools.

He picked them up one by one, showing them to the camera.

"These definitely look ancient…"

The viewers were fascinated.

But then—

Rudra noticed something deeper inside.

A shape.

Unclear… yet still.

He slowly approached it.

With each step, the shape became clearer.

His eyes widened slightly.

Without saying a word, Rudra lowered himself to his knees.

The chat exploded—

"What are you doing?"

"RUDRA??"

"What is that?!"

He increased the camera light.

And then—

It became visible.

A divine statue.

Mahadev… Lord Shiva.

For a moment, the entire chat froze.

Then it erupted—

"NO WAY!"

"IS THAT SHIVA?!"

But suddenly—

The atmosphere changed.

The air grew heavy.

The silence deepened.

The cave turned cold—not the cold of wind, but something far more profound.

Rudra slowly lifted his head, his eyes still fixed on the statue.

For a moment…

Everything stopped.

Even the dripping water fell silent.

The chat continued moving—

But Rudra could no longer hear it.

It felt distant.

Unreal.

"Guys…?" he whispered.

No response.

Then—

A low vibration echoed through the cave.

Dummm…

The ground trembled slightly. Dust fell from the ceiling.

Rudra's heart skipped a beat.

"What… was that…?"

His gaze returned to the statue.

And then—

Something impossible happened.

A faint blue glow appeared in the statue's eyes.

Rudra froze.

The glow intensified, spreading across the statue like flowing energy. The cave walls reflected the divine light.

Then suddenly—

BOOOOM—

A wave of energy burst outward.

The cave shook violently.

The chat exploded—

"WHAT IS THAT?!"

"RUDRA MOVE!"

The light grew stronger.

Brighter.

Unnatural.

Then—

GLITCH—

The screen flickered.

The chat froze mid-message.

"Rudra— wai—"

—Disconnected.

LIVE STREAM ENDED

The camera slipped from his hand, rolling across the ground.

At that exact moment—

The blue light engulfed Rudra completely.

BOOOOM—

Silence.

Darkness.

Endless darkness.

Rudra slowly opened his eyes.

There was no ground beneath him.

No wind.

No sound.

Only emptiness.

"Where… am I…?"

His voice vanished into nothingness.

Then—

A presence.

Ancient.

Overwhelming.

Rudra's breath stopped.

Slowly, he lifted his gaze.

And there—

In the endless void—

He saw it.

A massive shadow.

Holding a Trishul.

Radiating immeasurable power.

Rudra trembled.

"…No way…"

In that moment—

He understood.

"That… is Mahadev… the God of Gods…"

His knees weakened.

He bowed instinctively.

"I… Rudra… bow before you…"

Silence followed.

Then—

The shadow moved.

The Trishul began to glow.

And a voice echoed—

Deep.

Calm.

Infinite.

"You did not arrive here by chance."

Rudra's eyes widened.

"I… I don't understand…"

"You were called."

"And you answered."

"By destiny."

The Trishul rose slightly—

And the darkness shattered.

Visions surrounded him—

War.

Destruction.

Power beyond imagination.

And at the center of it all—

Himself.

"WHAT IS THIS?!" Rudra shouted.

The voice echoed again—

"Power comes with a price."

"Will you accept it?"

Silence fell.

Rudra stood there—trembling.

Fear gripped him.

Confusion clouded his thoughts.

Yet deep inside…

Something burned.

Slowly, he lifted his head.

His eyes filled with determination.

"…I will."

The Trishul shone brighter than ever—

And in the next moment—

Everything was consumed by light.
