"Heh, I'm done playing around with you."
"What?"
In the next instant, Son Goku shoved Botamo to the ground. He lunged forward, snatching the giant's legs in a vice-like grip.
"Hah!"
Botamo realized what Goku was planning and tried to break free, but Goku's hands were like iron shackles. Suddenly, Botamo experienced the sensation of flying. Wait, he actually could fly...
Swoosh!
With a massive heave, Goku hurled Botamo straight out of the ring.
Boom!
The yellow bear slammed into the ground outside the boundary, kicking up a massive cloud of dust. Watching from the sidelines, Champa felt his blood pressure spike.
"Hey! You can fly, can't you? Why didn't you just stay in the air?!"
Botamo scratched his head, looking utterly gormless. "Well, I kind of forgot... besides, I'm no match for him anyway..."
Champa: "..."
You're way too honest!
"Botamo has been eliminated! The winner is Son Goku of Universe 7!" the referee announced immediately.
"Hahaha! Nice work, Goku!"
"Hehe!"
Son Goku grinned, but his eyes quickly shifted toward a figure sitting on the Universe 6 bench, eyes closed in meditation.
Hit.
The dangerous pressure radiating from that man immediately commanded Goku's attention.
"And now, for the next match! The winner, Son Goku, will face off against Frost of Universe 6!"
As Frost stepped onto the stage, he reached out a hand toward Goku, offering a friendly smile. "Well then, let us have a fight where we both give it our all!"
"Huh? He's completely different from Frieza..." the Universe 7 spectators muttered, having seen the tyrant firsthand.
"No. I refuse to believe anyone who looks that much like Frieza is a good person," Vegeta said, shaking his head.
"Vegeta's right," Turles added, his eyes narrowing. "That Frost guy is no good."
The group blinked in surprise, turning to look at Turles.
"You'll see soon enough. His hands aren't clean," Turles continued. "Piccolo, watch him closely in a bit."
"Oh? Is that so? Understood," Piccolo replied. "But shouldn't we warn Goku?"
Turles shook his head. "No. It's better if Kakarot learns a lesson. He's getting too cocky lately. He's lost his sense of caution."
"I see. That makes sense." Piccolo nodded. It was true; he had noticed Goku changing recently. Was it because there was no immediate threat? Had he let his guard down too much?
The rest of the group watched the two men, confused by their cryptic exchange.
"Now, second round... Begin!"
At the referee's command, the match exploded into motion.
Flash! Flash!
Goku and Frost vanished simultaneously, reappearing in the center of the ring as they traded a flurry of blows.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
They blurred across the arena, their collisions echoing like thunder. Spotting an opening, Goku slammed a kick into Frost's side, sending him skidding across the tiles.
"Hey, you can transform, right?" Goku asked, watching Frost steady himself.
"Oh? How did you know that, Mr. Goku?" Frost asked, looking genuinely surprised. He didn't understand how this stranger knew his secrets.
"In our universe, I fought someone who looks a lot like you."
"Is that so? No wonder you know me so well. In that case, I shall respond with my final form!"
"Hah!"
Realizing there was no point in hiding it, Frost began to transform.
Boom!
A massive surge of Ki erupted, a purple aura swirling around him. Frost's body began to warp and shift.
His skull elongated, jutting backward. His two original horns multiplied into six, and his entire head became flat and massive. His expression turned cold and sinister as his shoulders and back swelled with new muscle. He looked hideous.
It was identical to Frieza's Third Form.
"Hmph. 'Final form'? The guy is lying through his teeth," Vegeta scoffed. He knew for a fact this wasn't the peak of that race's power.
"Wait, this isn't right... This is different from what I remember," Goku said, tilting his head as he studied Frost.
"Oh? And what was the 'me' in your universe like?"
Goku shook his head. "Trust me, you're better off not knowing..."
"Ho ho ho! I see. It sounds like he met a rather unfortunate end."
"Hah!"
Frost lunged at Goku, and the battle intensified.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Their figures flickered across the stage. The speed and power of the strikes increased with every passing second. This time, Goku actually felt the pressure. In his base form, keeping up with the increased speed of this transformation was becoming a struggle.
"Hahahaha! Nice! Get him, Frost! Knock that guy right out of the ring!" Champa shouted, standing up in excitement as he saw Goku being pushed back.
"Excellent. It looks like Frost has this round secured," Vados remarked with a polite nod. To her, it appeared the base Goku was indeed no match for Frost.
"My, my. It seems our Universe 6 is going to win this one," the Universe 6 Supreme Kai gloated toward Old Kai.
"Ho ho ho. Is that really the case?" Old Kai chuckled.
"Oh? Does that Son Goku have some sort of trump card hidden away?"
"Well, just keep watching and you'll see!" Old Kai gave a mysterious smile.
Crash!
Frost landed a heavy blow, sending Goku crashing into the ring. The impact shattered the tiles, leaving a massive crater.
"Ho ho ho. Mr. Goku, why don't you just surrender? You should know that I've been holding back," Frost said with a smirk.
"Man, what a pain," Goku muttered, picking himself up. "Are you hiding your last transformation because you want to save it for the later rounds?"
Goku looked him in the eye. "I'm telling you, you'd better transform now. Otherwise, you won't get another chance."
"HAA!"
Goku let out a roar as he surged into Super Saiyan. A golden aura exploded outward, his power rocking the entire stadium.
"What?! What is this change?!"
Frost's eyes nearly popped out of his head. He hadn't expected his opponent to suddenly dye his hair—no, transform right in front of him.
"Huh? What is that?!"
Champa stared in total confusion before whirling toward Vados. "Hey, Vados!"
Vados looked on, her expression intrigued. "It appears to be a transformation unique to the Saiyans."
"A transformation?!"
Champa's gaze immediately snapped toward Cabba.
