As one transformation followed another, Beerus and Champa were left speechless. Are there really this many levels to the Saiyan forms? This race is truly a bunch of freaks...
"And this last one... is Super Saiyan 5!"
"HAA!"
Hearing those words, Vegeta's eyes flashed with an intense light. Super Saiyan 5?!
He had already achieved the so-called godly transformations, but deep down, he still believed that the Saiyan bloodline could transcend all. He had been focusing his efforts on pushing the limits of Super Saiyan 4, trying to find a way to surpass it. He never imagined that Turles had already leaped past that boundary and reached the fifth stage.
Goku was also watching Turles with burning intensity. Super Saiyan 5? The anticipation was almost unbearable.
Suddenly, an incredibly oppressive pressure exploded outward, and a blinding white radiance completely engulfed Turles.
When the light receded, a brilliant silver flame roared around him.
The space surrounding the flame began to warp and distort, the sheer energy friction creating dense, crackling arcs of bio-electricity.
Sizzle! Crackle!
Turles's appearance had undergone a monumental shift. His hair had grown long and turned a shimmering silver. His body fur was now silver as well, contrasting sharply with his blood-red pupils. His chest and abdominal muscles were even more pronounced, and his entire frame had become significantly more hulking and powerful.
Zen-Oh's eyes were practically sparkling. "So cool! Hey, Turles! Why don't you come and work for me instead?"
Turles shook his head without a second thought. Work for you? You've got to be joking.
If it weren't for the fact that the Time King was so beautiful—those legs, wait, no—if it weren't for her incredible strength, he wouldn't even want to be the God of Destruction of Time. He certainly wasn't about to work for someone as moody and unpredictable as Zen-Oh.
"Um, Grand Zeno... perhaps you should discuss that with the Time King first?"
Zen-Oh's face stiffened, and he instinctively shrunk his neck. "Oh... never mind then. I'm going home!"
In an instant, he and his guards vanished into thin air. Turles stood there, stunned. Is the Time King's reputation really that terrifying? It seems I really did pick the right thigh to cling to.
After all, living in Zen-Oh's multiverse meant eventually having to deal with the child-like ruler. Having a beautiful lady boss as a shield didn't seem like a bad deal at all.
Once Zen-Oh was gone, Beerus and Champa collapsed to the floor, panting. The pressure Zen-Oh exerted was simply too heavy for them to handle.
After that, Champa honored their bet and handed over the six Super Dragon Balls to Beerus. He then left with Vados and the rest of the Universe 6 team.
Before they left, Cabba made sure to ask Vegeta how to become a Super Saiyan. Vegeta, in a rare moment of generosity, gave him a crash course—though his "teaching method" was definitely not something most people would recommend.
Looking at the six planet-sized orbs, Beerus scratched his head. "There are only six. What are we supposed to do, just carry them back?"
"No need. The last one is already here," Turles said.
He fired a casual Ki blast at the very planet they were standing on. The outer crust shattered, revealing the final Super Dragon Ball underneath. The "Nameless Planet" was the seventh orb.
"Come forth, Dragon of the Gods, and grant my wish! Peas and Carrots!"
With the incantation, Super Shenron appeared—a golden dragon so colossal it spanned across multiple star systems.
"Hey, Turles. What's your wish?" Beerus asked.
Turles checked the Attribute Points sitting in his System Space and smirked. "You decide. I don't need anything right now."
"Is that so? Then I owe you one."
"Understood, Lord Beerus."
Whis began to speak in the Divine Language. The dragon's eyes flared a brilliant red.
"Your wish has been granted!"
The dragon then turned its massive gaze toward Turles. "The Dragon God says you should visit the Dragon God Realm when you have the time."
With a flash of golden light, the dragon vanished, its body dispersing into the starry void.
"The Dragon God? Zalama wants to see me?" Turles frowned. "Is it because of the Miracle Power?"
He shook it off. Whatever. I'll figure it out when the time comes. Besides, I have a powerful backer now.
In Universe 6, Vados suddenly spoke to Champa.
"Lord Champa."
"Yeah? What is it, Vados?"
"Lord Beerus has used his wish to restore Earth."
Champa blinked, a small smile playing on his lips. "Hmph. Busybody."
Even Champa had a bit of a "tsundere" side to him.
Back on Earth, it wasn't long before Goku and Vegeta tracked Turles down.
The allure of Super Saiyan 5 was simply too much for them to ignore.
"So, Turles... about Super Saiyan 5..." Goku began, his voice trailing off as he looked at Turles expectantly.
Turles sighed. "Fine. It's not like I wasn't going to teach you. I actually learned this form from a version of Kakarot in another timeline. Come on, let's head to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber."
Vegeta's brow furrowed. "You learned it from Kakarot? What about the 'me' in that timeline?"
Sensing Vegeta's gaze, Turles knew exactly what he was asking. "Trust me, Vegeta... you're better off not knowing."
Vegeta took the hint immediately. "Hmph. I suppose the 'me' of that world was nothing special, then."
A short while later, Turles emerged from the Time Chamber. As for the other two? They were still inside, struggling to stabilize the Super Saiyan 5 form. Its energy was notoriously difficult to master.
In the Future Timeline—a world of desperation.
Earth was no longer a blue paradise. The cities were shrouded in thick, black smoke, and the air was heavy with the smell of gunpowder and blood.
"Dammit! Who the hell is he?! How can he be so strong?!"
Huff... puff...
A youth with purple hair and a longsword strapped to his back panted heavily as he sprinted through the ruins.
He reached a crumbling skyscraper and looked around frantically, searching for an escape. Suddenly, a massive blast of energy leveled the building, sending the boy flying.
Trunks slammed into another ruin, his head throbbing. Veins bulged on his forehead as he fought to suppress his rage and fear.
In the sky above, a relentless barrage of Ki blasts began to rain down. Trunks's eyes cleared—he forced himself to stay calm. He dived behind a pile of rubble, making himself as small as possible to hide his presence.
It wasn't until dusk that he finally managed to shake off his pursuer.
He cautiously entered a hidden tunnel, moving with extreme care. This was the secret base for him and his companions. To keep that "demon" from tracking him, he had to be cautious at every turn.
Knock, knock!
He tapped a specific rhythm on the door of the basement.
Creek—
A girl opened the door. She looked at him with relief in her eyes. "Trunks! Thank goodness! You made it back safely!"
This was indeed Trunks, but not the child Bulma knew. This was the warrior of the future.
"Yeah... Mai, I'm back."
