Dron backed away for a second. He shouldn't be eavesdropping on the private conversation, but he couldn't help himself. He wanted to know if Mexyn was in on the plot.
She wasn't, but that didn't mean what he'd heard Tempest say was any less upsetting. Maybe she truly wasn't here to spy on him, but to find out that he was nothing more than a security guard really put him on edge.
