Dron felt like he was walking on water.
At the same time it felt like every one of his nerves had been lit on fire.
The more he thought about what had just happened, the more he just couldn't believe it. It was impossible. There had been a few reports of fated mates but the last confirmed pair was more than a hundred years prior.
There were rumors that his mother was a fated mate who had rejected her pair, but there was no real proof.
Dron was confused.
He followed Tempest in the direction of Mexyn. He was glad that she was there, not because he wanted to talk to her but because it would give him a chance to make sure Tempest was safe and allow him to go see who he really wanted to see.
"That was…interesting." Mexyn stated as the two of them walked up to her.
