It felt like he was floating in the clouds.
Dron's mind felt slow but incredibly euphoric. There was still some pain but not nearly as bad as it had been before. He was coming out of it. Coming out of this never ending sleep.
He'd never felt like this before but he knew what he was experiencing was something more than just waking up from an injury.
Something more was happening around him.
Using all the strength he had, Dron tried to move his body. He started with his eyes but they only fluttered.
They opened slightly only to see darkness.
Instead of letting panic take over him he decided to focus on his limbs. Maybe he could try to move them.
He started with his finger tips and finally there was some progress. He couldn't move them much but there was definitely a wiggle.
Dron took stock of his entire body, trying to remember what it felt like to be conscious. What was strange was the fact that he could feel himself but also something else.
It wasn't the covers or the bed.
