The roar that left Dron's mouth shook the walls.
He pressed the indicator again to call Tempest, but just like before, he was unable to reach her.
All at once every fear that he had surfaced.
He'd left her on her own. Only with Gerax and Mexyn to keep her safe.
No. That wasn't true; he left her with Rynax.
That scab would do what he could to change her heart. He would do anything to take what was Dron's and make it his. It was a bad idea. He knew it when he went to ask Rynax to help him but he hoped that Tempest would be strong enough to resist.
Dron turned in the large room, his eyes already focused on the wood wall. He rammed his hand through the surface. The wood splintered as if it were already rotted through the second Dron pushed his fist through.
How could she do this to him? How could she have already run off with the next alpha while Dron was deep in the forbidden lands trying to figure out who was going against them?
