The subterranean bunker of GDA Central Command was no longer consumed by silence. The low, constant hum of Magitech equipment and the hurried footsteps of technicians now filled the halls. Richard Vance sat motionless, scrolling through a massive holographic database.
Over the past forty-two days, he had reshaped the map of the world. Richard's gaze landed on a section labeled 'Purged Data.' With cold calculation, he had erased the names of 120 million people from the GDA's official records.
These were F-Rank mutants with zero mana flow. To Richard, they were no longer relevant.
"No mana, no value," he repeated silently. The GDA was now an agency dedicated solely to the 180 million Dungers who had the strength to fight.
The Specialists: Wisdom and Architect
The heavy doors opened. Aris entered with two figures.
"Director," Aris began. "These are the specialized classes we located last month. Elara is a C-Rank Architect, and Marcus is a B-Rank Wisdom class."
Richard looked at Marcus. "I heard you decoded the math behind the system, Marcus?"
Marcus projected a complex graph onto the main screen. "Yes, Sir. The old calculations are useless. I have established a numerical Mana Point (MP) Scale."

Marcus interjected with his second breakthrough. "We no longer need to send sensors inside to check a gate's rank. I have established the 'Gate Size Correlation.'"

50-foot Gate: A-Rank
The physical height of the portal was now the ultimate indicator of its danger.
Richard looked out the window. 90 to 100 E-Rank gates and nearly 10 D-Rank gates were appearing daily.
"The world thinks we have control," Richard said coldly. "But the system has only finished its warm-up. Expansion is our only strategy. Begin the re-registration of all 180 million Dungers immediately."
Humanity was no longer just struggling in the dark. In the Magitech Era, they were finally learning how to measure the abyss.
