"Damn it, what the hell is going on outside? Why is it so loud?!" The three-headed Chief Justice bellowed in anger.
"Send someone!"
"Explain the situation immediately!"
"Ahem, Chief Justice, pirates have invaded Judicial Island," a Marine officer ran in to report. "They're causing chaos all over the island."
"What?!" The Chief Justice couldn't believe it. "Pirates daring enough to wreak havoc here?!"
This was Judicial Island the very face of the World Government's justice. Attacking it was tantamount to declaring war on the entire world. Did these pirates not realize that? Or did they simply not care?
"Though I don't know exactly what's happening, it is true that pirates have entered."
"Do we know who they are?"
"The only one whose name we know is the Straw Hat kid," the officer replied.
"The Straw Hat kid…" The left head thought for a moment. "I think that's the pirate with a bounty of 100 million Berries, right?"
For pirates with bounties over 100 million, he sometimes glanced at their files.
"Yes."
"Hmph. A pirate with a 100 million Berry bounty dares to make trouble on Judicial Island?!" The right head roared. "Capture him immediately! I want to try him!"
"Do it quickly," the Chief Justice said coldly.
If only the Straw Hat kid posed a serious threat, it wouldn't matter. Judicial Island had a standing force of about 10,000, plus several CP9 agents stationed there. There was no need to worry about pirates breaking through.
Still, it was better to neutralize the threat early to avoid bigger losses.
"We're already on it," the Marine officer said, wiping sweat from his forehead. "But the enemies are tricky. It's not just the Straw Hat kid who's strong."
Even with nearly all 10,000 troops moving, they still couldn't subdue the intruders.
"Boom!"
A massive explosion shook the courthouse, darkening the Chief Justice's expression.
"They're really bold," he said, his gaze icy. "Pirates actually attacking Judicial Island…"
"Thinking a bit of strength lets them run wild here?"
"They're probably here to rescue someone," the left head observed. "CP9 returned today with two prisoners, Nicole Robin and Franky. I think the Straw Hat kid came to save them."
"Truly clueless, thinking they can enter Judicial Island and leave safely?" The right head roared. "Kill them!"
"Kill them!"
All three heads shouted together, furious beyond measure.
"Don't worry about this. Just deal with those intruders," the Chief Justice ordered. "If the Straw Hat kid dares to come here, I'll personally chop off his head!"
"Understood."
After dismissing the officer, the Chief Justice muttered, "I can't believe someone actually dared attack Judicial Island. This is the first time in eight hundred years."
"What a reckless bunch."
"Just a group of arrogant fools. Once they see real despair, they'll behave."
"Ha, that's true."
Though no one had ever dared attack Judicial Island in the past, brazen pirates weren't unheard of.
"Are we not going to stop them?" the left head asked.
"No need," the right head said, shaking his head. "If the Straw Hat kid manages to make it here, that will be our cue."
As the Chief Justice, chasing enemies wasn't his role.
"Hmm?"
The three suddenly fell silent, listening intently. They turned in unison toward the corridor's end.
A man in a vest walked slowly toward them, a kunai spinning between his fingers.
"Yo… you must be the Chief Justices of the courthouse," Zian said casually.
He scanned them, his eyes briefly flickering with surprise. Three heads how had this entity survived?
"Who are you?!" the Chief Justice demanded, staring at him. "Why are you here?"
"I'm sure you're not from the island. Are you one of the pirates attacking Judicial Island?" the left head asked.
"If you're pirates, then you're dead!" the right head shouted.
Zian: …
Talking to such a strange being felt… peculiar.
"Do you argue among yourselves?" Zian asked on a whim.
The Chief Justice: ???
"Uh… occasionally," the left head said.
"Hmph. Sometimes when the other two annoy me, I curse them too," the right head replied.
"Damn it, what nonsense are you two talking about? This guy's a pirate! How can you be answering his questions?" the Chief Justice snapped.
The two heads suddenly realized, glaring angrily at Zian. "You tricked us with some strange method!"
Zian twitched his mouth. This time, he hadn't used illusions he'd just asked a simple question. And yet, they answered him. He had to admit, the people in this world were unusually eccentric.
"Pirate, how did you get here?!" The Chief Justice drew his long blade. "The gates weren't even opened."
"For a ninja, this is just a hole full of opportunities," Zian shrugged.
"Ninja?"
The three heads were momentarily stunned they hadn't expected him to say that.
The left head's eyes began to flare, but then he quickly calmed when he remembered he was dealing with an enemy.
"You're from Wano Country?" the Chief Justice asked.
"No."
"Then a Devil Fruit user?"
"What do you think?" Zian countered.
"Me?" The Chief Justice shook his head. "I honestly don't care if you're from Wano or a Devil Fruit user. I just need to know you're an enemy."
With that, the Chief Justice leapt into the air, landing a short distance from Zian. "Evil pirate, now you shall face the judgment of justice!"
He swung his massive blade, eyes growing even colder.
Since this so-called "evil pirate" dared stand before him, he would simply execute him on the spot.
"Evil…" Zian paused, spinning his kunai. "Is that your evaluation of me?"
"Of course! As a pirate, you are naturally evil!" the Chief Justice said. "And I will destroy you in the name of justice!"
"Justice… evil… same old story," Zian said, scratching his ear. "Ultimately, it's just that we're on different sides."
He smirked, eyeing the three heads, whose expressions had darkened. "And tell me, if you were truly justice, why do you have so much treasure in your room?"
A playful grin crossed his face. "Don't tell me that's just your normal salary as a Chief Justice. What kind of Chief Justice has so much gold and jewels?"
The three heads froze.
