🌌 Saga Introduction: The Glory of Sovereigns
In a vast universe of ninety explored galaxies, humanity enforces its dominion over forty of them, while Elves (ten galaxies), Demons (thirty galaxies), and Giant Mercenaries (ten galaxies) divide the remaining worlds. Here, on the "Mother Planet," the Central Continent stands as the beating heart of power—a place where starship technology merges with the magic of "Mana" and the raw violence of "Ki."
In this world, struggle recognizes only rank, from the humble "Apprentice" to the legendary "War Sovereign." Here, empires are built on blood, and palaces crumble under the weight of conspiracies. While emperors clash for control of the "Tower of Heavens," a banished heir of the prestigious "Impratoria" family is born, carrying a secret legacy in his blood that will shatter the balance of the cosmos.
🖋️ Arc I: Journey into the Heart of Darkness
The first ten chapters are essential flashbacks, tracing the path that will forge our hero and transform him into Re Oscuro. This arc serves as the fundamental reference for understanding our universe; it is not a simple conflict between good and evil, but a ruthless political reality governed by power, authority, and influence.
Through these pages, you will discover the complexity of rule, the imposing presence of emperors, and the various forces that govern the galaxies. This beginning is the root from which our epic will grow: an arduous journey in a world that does not spare the weak, where glory is conquered, and never given.
We wish you a captivating journey within our pitiless world.
Chapter One: The Central Continent and the Omen of Misfortune
The Central Continent is comprised of three small nations and one major Sovereign State—the birthplace of the imperial family "Impratoria," where War Kings and Ancients gather. This Great State contains only the palaces of ancestors and princes, the imposing Imperial Palace, and the Governance Council from which the Emperor directs his galaxies, flanked by the Senate and War Councils.
The governing system is strictly hierarchical: the Emperor at the summit, followed by the Princes, then the Senate, the Supreme Court, the War Council, and the Executive Council. Deep within this state, there is no place for commoners, commerce, or agriculture. Only members of the imperial lineage, senators, and generals reside here. Even the servants are extraordinary—the elite graduates of the most prestigious academies.
As for the three peripheral nations, they are governed by princes, followed by a nobility of dukes, marquises, and counts. Each nation plays a vital role:
* The First Nation: The stronghold of the Servant Academy, where the children of nobles study to serve the court, while commoners are trained for service outside the "Mother Planet."
* The Second Nation: The breadbasket, an entirely agricultural state dedicated to provisioning the Empire.
* The Third Nation: The industrial fortress, responsible for the maintenance of galactic fleets, patrol ships, and the upkeep of teleportation portals.
Historically, the current Emperor is the 24th ruler of the Central Continent, nicknamed "The Lion of the Imperial Family" (Eskandar). He seized the throne by the edge of the blade in ruthless wars against his brothers and uncles, building a prestige so great that the emperors of the North, West, and East would never dare confront him. It was said of him that "the blood of his enemies never dried upon his throne." One memorable night, Eskandar returned from war dragging a giant Mercenary King from the edge of the universe after learning of his involvement in the assassination of his wife; he crushed him before the War Sovereigns and executed him on the threshold of his throne, under the eyes of his first wife who had orchestrated the plot—the woman later known as "The Executioner of War Sovereigns."
The Day of the Plot
We go back in time to the day of the conspiracy... The Emperor was leading a bloody campaign to suppress unrest in a border galaxy between humans and demons. Meanwhile, his wife and sister to the Emperor of the West, Empress "Nadia" (known by the title "Dhalam"), was on the planet "Khalwa," a retreat of the Central Continent. Nadia was a renowned scientist and sorceress whose inventions protected humanity and served as a safety net for the commoners against the oppression of the nobles.
On that day, the Seventh Prince (father of our future hero) went to visit his mother, Nadia. Planet Khalwa welcomed him with breathtaking beauty: freshwater seas and lush green islands. In the heart of one of these islands stood Nadia's tower. The Prince entered, unaware that this would be their final meeting.
* The Seventh Prince: "Greetings, Mother."
* Empress Nadia: "My beloved son, how are you? And how is your wife?"
* The Seventh Prince: "I am well despite the court intrigues, but my father remains my greatest support. And I have wonderful news for you."
* Empress Nadia: "Gladden me, my son, for I am weary of grim news."
* The Seventh Prince (smiling): "This news deserves a precious gift... My wife is three months pregnant, and the doctor confirms the child is in excellent health. No one knows this secret but you and my father's doctor."
* Empress Nadia (overjoyed): "Finally... a grandson for me! I have waited so long!"
Suddenly, the Empress's body stiffened; she felt a disturbance outside the tower. Contact with her guards was severed—warships had entered the planet's atmosphere.
* The Seventh Prince: "Mother, what is happening?"
* Empress Nadia: "An attack to destroy the protection dome. They are taking advantage of your father's absence. You must leave immediately!"
* The Seventh Prince: "I will not leave you alone!"
* Empress Nadia: "No time for discussion! An entity close to your father's power is outside the atmosphere. My presence here would only slow you down. Take this... it is a 'Nano' injection from a vanished magical civilization. A unique system I designed to work only with my blood and Eskandar's. If your son activates it one day, he will be invincible. Leave now through the imperial escape portal. Do not fear; your mother is strong."
* The Seventh Prince: "It's impossible, Mother!"
* Empress Nadia (firmly): "I said leave! The attackers are powerful. My assistant knows everything and will help you inject my grandson with the Nano. Be careful; no one must know of this but you, Ned, and Eskandar. Goodbye, my little one... and name my grandson (Re Oscuro)."
With her magic, she pushed him into the teleportation seal: "Goodbye, my son. Your mother loves you." She exhausted half of her magical strength to ensure his transfer to the Mother Planet. At that moment, the shield collapsed, and three War Sovereigns appeared: two combatants, a Sovereign Sorcerer, and the Giant Mercenary Leader—one of the most formidable entities in the universe.
* Empress Nadia: "Welcome, money-hound... What brings you to the Emperor's retreat?"
* Mercenary Leader (with a coarse laugh): "Zehahaha... You are still beautiful, Empress 'Dhalam' Nadia, despite the years."
* Nadia (glaring at the sorcerer): "And you too? The Light Empress's dog! Now I understand who pushed you to this folly. Was that bitch not satisfied with the palace, that she must hunt me in my seclusion?"
* The Sorcerer: "Yes, my Lady. Today marks your end. The prophecy of my Lady's Seer says: Darkness and Light cannot coexist under one Emperor."
* Nadia (laughing scornfully): "That witch is a lackey to my brother, the Emperor of the West! Is that what my brother fears, even after I renounced the throne and left the palace?"
* Mercenary Leader: "Zehahaha... Your squabbles do not concern me. Only gold interests me!"
The three attacked together, but Nadia was ready. She plunged the space into absolute darkness with her power, fighting them with dual magical martial arts in a battle that pulverized half the planet. All perished except for the mercenary leader, who survived with mortal wounds.
* Mercenary Leader (spitting blood): "If she hadn't drained her power for that transfer before we entered, my head would be gone... I didn't see her die, but I'll claim she did to collect my gold. Take me to the Celestial Doctor in the seclusion of the universe's edge!"
The Cry of the Chamberlain
Meanwhile, the Seventh Prince reached the Mother Planet, injured by the violence of the transfer. Professional assassins were waiting for him, striking him with a poisoned dagger in his "Mana Circle." At that moment, the Chamberlain (Eskandar's right hand) felt the danger and teleported instantly to find the Prince gasping in his own blood. The four assassins committed suicide the moment he appeared.
* The Chamberlain (with a roar that shook the Mother Planet): "My little lord! Imperial Doctor, appear before me this instant, even if you are at the far end of the galaxy!"
The entire planet trembled at the Chamberlain's voice. The Prince was treated, and in a fading breath, he whispered: "Save my mother... Khalwa is under attack!"
The Chamberlain, terrified by the love Eskandar bore for Nadia, rushed toward Khalwa only to find ruins. He returned to the palace trembling with fear at the impending wrath of the Emperor and raised the defense to the maximum level.
* The Master: "Have you gone mad? Raising the defense to maximum? Are we under attack?"
* The Chamberlain: "Worse than that, Master... Empress Nadia has vanished, and the Seventh Prince is on the brink of death."
* The Master (aghast): "Woe to us! Who can contain him now? She was his only link to humanity. Go to the battlefield and inform the Emperor... The real war begins now."
