Chapter 45 - Chapter 45 — Convergence War

Silence no longer existed.

The massive rift stretched wider, as if the sky itself was being pulled into it. The presence within was no longer watching…

It was crossing.

Pressing against reality with unbearable weight.

Violet stood at the center.

Chains surrounded her, extending through the fractures, binding layers of existence together. Her face was calm—

—but the storm around her revealed the truth.

This was no longer a battle.

It was a war of dimensions.

"It won't hold…" she whispered.

"It will," Marley replied firmly.

She stepped forward and raised her hand—

A massive barrier formed, intercepting a wave of darkness that surged from the rift straight toward Violet.

The الأرض beneath her cracked violently—

but Marley didn't move.

"Nothing gets through."

Behind her, Lenore closed her eyes and raised both hands.

Symbols of light formed around her, rotating in perfect harmony.

"I'll stabilize the flow."

Her energy surged into the chains, weaving through them, easing the الضغط, strengthening their structure.

Violet exhaled slowly.

"I can feel it… it's clearer now."

Above them—

Maximilian stood.

Watching.

Calculating.

Then he spoke calmly:

"The objective isn't to destroy it… it's to restrain it."

He vanished—

and reappeared above the entity.

His strike came down like judgment.

It slammed into the forming mass—

and forced it to halt.

"Now!"

At the same moment—

Shadow moved.

No one saw him enter.

He became part of the darkness itself.

He slipped inside the entity, his voice low:

"I found a pivot point… but it's shifting."

Zack looked up instantly.

"Wait!"

He raised his hand, eyes moving rapidly—

as if reading something unseen.

"The patterns… they repeat… but not identically—"

A pause.

Then he shouted:

"Strike!"

Shadow didn't hesitate.

One precise blow—

inside.

The entity trembled.

Part of it separated—

just for a moment.

That was enough.

Lexia moved.

"You opened it? Good."

She rushed into the gap, her strikes fast, relentless, leaving no space for regeneration.

"You won't adapt this time."

Behind them, Sid raised his hand.

Massive energy circles formed in the sky.

"I'll synchronize the attack."

He smiled with confidence.

"It hits… all at once."

Alfred stood beside him, gaze steady.

"And I'll make sure it doesn't move."

He lowered his hand—

A crushing field descended over the battlefield.

Gravity intensified.

The entity slowed.

For the first time—

it staggered.

"Now!" Zack shouted.

Everything moved together.

Marley held the defense.

Lenore stabilized the flow.

Maximilian suppressed the entity.

Shadow disrupted its core.

Lexia tore through the opening.

Sid aligned the attack.

Alfred bound its movement.

And Violet—

bound the dimensions.

The chains flared with power, extending through every fracture, forcing them into alignment.

The massive rift began to close.

Slowly.

Painfully.

Then—

it trembled.

The entity reformed.

Larger.

Heavier.

Clearer.

Maximilian stepped back slightly, eyes sharp.

"It's not over."

Shadow emerged again, voice cold:

"It's just beginning."

The sky cracked further.

The pressure increased.

Even Violet's chains began to shake.

Zack whispered:

"It's adapting… faster than we are."

A heavy silence fell.

Then—

A deep voice echoed everywhere:

"Insufficient."

Everything froze.

Even the air.

Violet clenched her fists, despite the pain tearing through her.

"Even so…" she said quietly,

"I won't let you pass."

She lifted her gaze—

And then—

the sky ignited.

But not from the rift.

From above.

Lights appeared—fast, organized.

Then—

A massive roar tore through the atmosphere.

Everyone stopped.

Looked up.

And saw—

ships.

Dozens… then hundreds.

Emerging from stable rifts, moving in precise formations. Their structures varied—some radiant gold, others formed of shadow, others glowing with blue energy.

Zack breathed out in shock:

"That's—"

Marley finished, her voice low:

"The Dimensional Union…"

A brief silence.

Then a broadcast spread across the sky:

"All units—prepare to support."

Violet didn't look away.

But for the first time—

the pressure eased.

Just slightly.

She whispered:

"Finally…"

The massive rift pulsed.

And the war—
