Chapter 1 - “Lost Love in a City of Neglect”

🌸 Love Story 🌸

In the heart of bustling Dhaka stood tall the renowned "Rahman Group of Industries"—one of the city's largest companies. The owner of this empire was Mr. Rashed Rahman. And his only son—Arian Rahman.

Arian—just as beautiful as his name, so was he as a person. Highly educated, smart, well-groomed, and a little arrogant too. After completing his MBA abroad, he returned to take charge of his father's company. In the office, he had a strong presence—people respected him, and feared him a little as well.

But there was something missing in Arian's life—love.

Many girls had come into his life—as friends, acquaintances. But his heart had never truly raced for anyone. He always believed love belonged only in movies, not in real life.

But one day, everything changed.

That day, the office was extremely busy. A new project launch was approaching, and everyone was rushing around. Arian stepped out of his cabin and walked across the floor when suddenly a file dropped in front of him.

"Sorry, sir!"—a sweet voice said.

Arian looked up, slightly annoyed. But the next moment, he froze.

A girl in a simple saree—eyes filled with an innocent charm, no makeup on her face, yet unbelievably beautiful. She was picking up the scattered files with her head lowered.

"What's your name?" Arian asked.

In a slightly trembling voice, she replied,

"I'm Mehrin, sir… I work in the accounts department."

Arian nodded and walked away, but an unfamiliar feeling lingered in his heart.

And from that day, it began.

Arian started finding excuses to visit the accounts department—sometimes to check files, sometimes to review reports.

And every time, his eyes searched for one person—Mehrin.

Mehrin was completely different. She didn't talk or laugh like others; instead, she stayed immersed in her work. She would leave early after office hours.

One day, Arian finally asked,

"Why are you always so quiet?"

Mehrin looked at him, slightly surprised.

"At work, I focus on work, sir."

Arian smiled softly at her answer.

"You can call me 'Arian' instead of 'sir.'"

Mehrin lowered her head.

"I can't do that, sir."

Days passed.

Arian realized—he was changing. He now looked forward to coming to the office, just to see one face.

One day after office hours, he saw Mehrin standing outside.

"Are you waiting for the bus?" Arian asked.

"Yes, sir."

"I can drop you."

Mehrin stepped back slightly.

"No sir, that won't be necessary."

"Are you afraid?" Arian smiled lightly.

"No… but… we belong to different worlds, sir."

That sentence pierced deep into Arian's heart.

Chapter Two: The Beginning of Love, The Fear of Denial

Still, Arian didn't give up.

Slowly, he started talking to Mehrin—about her family, her dreams, her struggles.

Mehrin lived in a small house with her mother. Her father had passed away long ago. She worked to support her family.

"Don't you have any dreams?" Arian asked one day.

Mehrin smiled faintly.

"Who has time to dream, sir? Life just needs to be lived."

Hearing this, Arian realized—she was truly different.

One rainy day, Mehrin was leaving the office without an umbrella.

Suddenly, an umbrella appeared over her head.

"I'm here"—Arian's voice.

Mehrin looked up in surprise.

"You're here?"

"For you."

For the first time, a different emotion appeared in Mehrin's eyes.

That day, in the rain, by the roadside—an invisible bond formed between them.

Chapter Three: The Confession of Love

One day, Arian could no longer hold himself back.

"Mehrin, I love you."

Mehrin froze.

"Do you understand what you're saying?"

"Yes. I know you're different from me… but I truly love you."

Mehrin lowered her eyes.

"This love won't have a good ending, sir."

"I don't think about the ending. I just want you."

After much hesitation, fear, and tears—Mehrin finally gave in.

She said,

"I love you too."

Chapter Four: The Beginning of the Storm

This relationship didn't stay hidden for long.

One day, Arian's father found out.

"A relationship with a lower-class girl?"—Rashed Rahman exploded in anger.

"She's not just an employee, she's a human being," Arian replied.

"You will end this relationship today!"

"I can't."

The next day…

Mehrin was called in.

"Your job is terminated," said Rashed Rahman coldly.

"But sir, what did I do wrong?" Mehrin asked, trembling.

"You forgot your place."

That very day, Mehrin was not only fired but forced to leave the city.

Final Scene (Part One)

Arian knew nothing.

He wondered why Mehrin wasn't answering his calls, why she wasn't coming to the office.

One day, he found out everything.

His own family… had destroyed his love.

And at that moment, something inside Arian shattered.
