¬ Hiln
I had been sitting for a while now.
The hazy dome rippled faintly around me, the grey shifting across the clear surface like disturbed water.
The lines I could finally see again glowed and pulsed softly. I could make them appear and disappear at will, but to my discomfort, I found that I could not control them as I had done before.
Where they had answered my rage and grief, they simply existed in this quiet chamber, indifferent to my will.
Did I always have to be stressed and frustrated to be able to fully use these abilities?
It was exhausting.
I lowered my hand and stared at nothing.
What was I supposed to do now?
I felt so lost. I seemed to have been cut loose from everything that had once anchored me and left to drift in a void I didn't understand.
