'The forum said Julian Bennett has a girlfriend…'
'He never mentioned that, though.'
Zoe Rhodes took out her phone to check. The last message in her chat history with Julian Bennett was from before he returned to Porten.
She wanted to send a message, but then she remembered Julian Bennett's instruction before he left: "If I don't contact you, you don't contact me."
'Yikes… At first, it really sounded like some kind of sordid relationship.'
'But it's really not!'
'Her and Mr. Wright's relationship was one of pure camaraderie! It truly couldn't be any purer—more pristine than jade!'
At first, she'd thought Mr. Wright was just being a good Samaritan, helping her strategize so earnestly.
It was only after she realized he was Julian Bennett that she understood he was simply bored, loved to get involved in drama, and on top of that, just wanted to get back at Nathan Bennett.
'Strangely, though… a few days have passed. Why hasn't Julian Bennett contacted me yet?'
