"You're lying!" Exposed, the old lady flew into a rage out of sheer embarrassment. She gripped her cane and shot to her feet.
"Things have already gotten this ugly. Aren't you tired of keeping up the act?"
"You really are just like your mother—so detestable!" The old lady trembled with rage. "Was she the one who put you up to this?"
