The Monroe Family was holding a dinner party for Kian Jacobs. Outsiders thought it was merely a welcome party to help him expand his network, but Jasper Quinn could see the true intention. The old madam, of course, saw it too and was now smashing things in her hospital room in a fit of rage.
"They've lost their minds! I knew it wasn't a coincidence that Kian showed up now!" The old madam trembled with fury. "They're planning to use my hospitalization for this broken bone as a chance to make the matter of the heir public once and for all."
"That bitch must have had a hand in this. I'm sure she's the one pulling the strings!"
"Old Madam, please calm down." Kane, who had been released, was trying to soothe her. "You're injured. Besides, the Master has people watching you. We can't leave."
"Go, get Eve Hughes for me!"
"Mrs. Hughes?" Kane frowned.
"Who am I doing all this for? Shouldn't she help me?"
