'A marital home?'
'The marriage is fake, but he actually prepared a marital home?' While Joyce Monroe was in a daze, her phone vibrated. It was a call from her mother, asking where she was.
"I'm with Silas," Joyce Monroe answered truthfully.
"You're not familiar with Northgate, and you went out without anyone. I was just a little worried about you. But if you're with Silas, then it's fine."
Silas Thorne reached out, gesturing for Joyce Monroe to give him the phone. He greeted Miranda Jacobs, and after a couple of pleasantries, he said, "Can Joyce stay at my place tonight?"
Joyce Monroe: (O_o)??
Miranda Jacobs laughed. "You two are husband and wife. Isn't it normal for you to live together? She's been in Northgate for a few days. She should have gone to you sooner, but I hadn't seen her in so long and couldn't bear to let her go, so I had her stay with me a few extra days. You won't be jealous of me, will you?"
"Of course not."
