Joyce Monroe felt that ever since they'd broken through that final barrier in their relationship, Silas Thorne had been getting more and more audacious. Before, he'd at least make excuses to hold her hand or kiss her. Now, he would lean over and steal a kiss even when she was just sitting there, playing on her phone.
When she asked him why,
